Does anyone know if toyota factory radios/cd players from later model celicas will work in the 94-99 models without mods to wiring harness, mounting points, facia?

I'd like to know also. What I know the 98' Enhanced sound system's double-din deck won't plug into my standard sound system.

I don't know if this helps, but I just bought a '94 st that the previous owner installed a headunit that
was allegedly from a '99. It is a big, double din unit with CD and cassette. He said it plugged right in. |

i know that the cd player plugs into the radio/tape deck. then the plug for the radio/tape deck is different if you have an stock amp.
the plug in the back of the non-amp system is the same as the plug that plugs into the amp. i'm really bad at explaining stuff. hope that kinda helps |
