I currently have an S2000 antenna on my car. I used the method in the How-To. I recently lost all antenna reception... So I check behind the headunit and all connections are fine. I yanked off my antenna to check it out and I got pissed and took everything apart. The piece from my old OEM antenna that I used to clamp on the S2K antenna is maybe 5-6 inches long. What would be the perfect length of the rod I need to attach to the antenna so that it gives me some signal? I'm tired of playing out the songs on my CDs and I need my radio! Lol. Help me out. And please don't tell me how ghetto the way I did it was. I know... JB Weld. lol. Thanks.

Is it possible to use the aftermarket short antennas that can be used for S2000s off of ebay?

I think this would work just with my 6th gen base wouldn't it? I don't wanna spend over 40 dollars on this project. I have the the NON power antenna on my 94 gt.

oh i didnt know they made the 6gen without a power antenna.. the antenna i used i got off ebay.. the first one i got was crap! it was one of the cool looking chroms ones and it was just some cheap crap when i got it.. so the second one i got was a OEM honda s2k stubby antenna its rubber and its goes with the car nice.. it was only like $10 with shipping i think.. and i onlt did it bc i had my gurage door down a lil and i backed out and bent my power one really bad and it wouldnt go back down after that and i always hated how that damn thing looked.. and i didnt want to do that clamping and glue bc i kno some retard would break it off in a parking lot or something
