yeah I saw a few of thoes headers on ebay a wile back, but the reported "10-14 HP increase" seemed a little bit much for a 5sfe givin its need for back pressure also I would think it would make the exhaust sound very riced. + with out the header cat you'll probably fail imissions.

That does look good.
But I'll reserve my judgement until I see it in Madmods car.

Thats a turbo manifold not a header, you may need a few extra parts if your planning on getting that one...LOL

hey i got em off of ebay a few weeks ago...they are on the car. sounds great. you need to get 3 new bolts for the down pipe. and you need to get a o2 sensor bolt (napa) cuz it comes with an mr2 and a celica o2 sensor hook up. but looks nice. and i heard they will rot. rust out due to weathering. but i dont know, guess we will have to see. later guys.

Make sure you put some heater wrap on the far left pipe, protect that alternator core! Thats what i did to mine. Header made some definite sound changes, for the better and also much better now. Mines been on for over a year now and no problems.

hitcachi, you said you've had these exact headers on for over a year? How do they look after this long? Did the shine get really dull or did they get any "rainbow"? Does the absence of a cat make the check engine light come on? Any exhaust leaks?

It is not a Mr2 and Celica o2

I forgot from which year to which year with in the 94-99 but anyways, some use both holes and the other use only one hole.

so if you GT only have one hole you will need to buy a screw at a auto shop and screw it in as he did.

spke719 did you have to buy new bolts and nuts to secure the bottom of the header to the front pipe? I'm asking because the eBay header doesn't have studs that stick out of the bottom of the header.

ohh-- that sucks man -- good luck with house shopping - find a hotel/motel that allow pets (hard to find i know) -- spending 1-2 wks in the van is ok, but with a dog - kinda difficult -

it wont pass at all right now but im gonna change it back so it will then come back home and put it back on. cuz in order for ur cat to work it has to be a certain temp. and i dont know where a good place to put it would be to get up to that temp cuz they let the car cool down before they test it. so until then this is what i will have to do.
