When I drive in the parking garage, I get a similar sound. I'm not quite that loud. After I put my header on, I hope it will smooth out a bit. 2.5in strate pipe with header, that will be pretty bad. That's a nice sound from that one. Just unhook your exhaust right after your downpipe. Record the sound in a parking garage or in a tunnel or something.

That is probably the result of a straight exhaust, no muffler no resinator or cat, on an high boost motor.

very loud, I gata say, I like it but not exactly a street car.

yes that is a street legal car... owner's name is Andrew and he has straight pipe 3 inch exhaust... there are many other videos of this beastly supra out that do the car more justice than this dark 2 step vid...

thumbsdown.gif

I hate it. Wang showing contests should be done with power - not noise.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Yahoo! Where's my cookie?

I don't know if you deserve a cookie. It does say "2 step Supra" right under the video.

Your not stupid. I didn't learn about what they were untill 6months or so ago. They're a rev limiting system. You can use it as a regular limiter, or just for launching. There's a video of an Audi out there somewere with it. That car is cracking and popping like crazy. This Supra really doesn't sound to bad for a 2 step system.

well not in WA or CALI for sure, if nothing else its bound to break the sound ordanace.

<2 step system noob>
so its a rev limity system, as in it limits your rev so that when you lonch not all your power it put to the wheels right away, as to help with traction?
