how the **** do you get this ****ing ********* *** **************** off? it's an allen key bolt with a nut on it and i'd assume you have to wrench the nut whilst holding the bolt still with the allen key. but, this is ****ing impossible, or so it would seem. how have you guys taken this **** off?

wd40 then torch it real hot. repeat again and again til it loosens. don't overtorque it and ruin the key. be careful not to do both at the same time and burn yourself

These piss'ed me off so bad.... Mine wouldent budge a inch no matter PB blaster / WD40, I ended up just drillin them out, but if you cant get them off there like 40$ each from the dealership eh...

Use a hex head piece with a socket.
![]() With a socket wrench, you'll be able to apply far more torque than you ever will with a piddly allen key. Allen key is also likely to bend or snap too. tried that... it was all so rusted together we just sawzalled 'em both. actually, we just finished the left rear... jim's putting the brakes back on and we should be ready to start on the front (****) in a couple minutes.

i'm telling you... you should torch it.. it worked on my 5th gen and it was rusted like hell. no matter how much torque you give it, the hex in the middle get ruined from too much torque.
