So, i was working for the City of Toronto for the last...4 months. I was working at one of the 2 small ski hills we have in the city as a ski instructor. So since the ski season is done, i needed to find a new job. So i wanted to get somethin full time, somethin thats going to be fun, somethin automotive related aswell. So i checked out a few places near by, and i found that a local performance shop was hiring. Its called Performance Improvements. So i brought in a resume, and the owner of the chain of stores said "We arent looking for any one full time at this location, but we could use some one in Scarbough" Scarbrough is on the other side of the city, about 20 min by highway. So i said "im not picky, im willing to drive" So i headed out to the store today, met with the manager. He liked me, said if it was up 2 him, i was hired. The owner said if it was up 2 him, i would be hired. Any ways, so im pretty much hired. So im gonna be working with performance parts all day, i get discounts on every thing in the store, and i get a wicked salary. Starting rate is $450 a week for a 40H week. So its around $1800 a month..much better than what i was making at all my other jobs. Only down side to it, is i have to drive for around 40 min in traffic daily to get there. So im very very happy. This means i can start saving up for my trip and for some new mods.

Driving your celica should never be thought of as a "downside." That's blasphemy.

celi stuff?..PI? HA!..all i could offer woudl be wheels, gauges and universal bolt on parts. They offer lots of stuff for 4th and 7th gen celicas though.
and wannabe, its not considered a downside, its the distance i consider the downside, plus racking up all the milage on the car..its roughly 100KM there and back. |
