okay so im really considering doing a 2" front drop and 1.5"-1.8" in the rear. I plan on puttin on some 17x7.5 rims. would it flow well? tire rubbing? is it toooo low? i think it's not ground touching with 2" drop is it? but just wondering what it would look like. lmk on your opinions. if u have pics post

player is on this!

he means me!

your going to have to use coilovers....

so expect a slightly bouncy ride quality due to high spring rates
and you'll have to get new struts KYB, bilstein or koni
rubbing no shouldn't have any...i have 18x7.5" never had a problem w/more then a 2" drop
just know it can wear your bearings out much faster then normal (i've replaced both fronts)

ground clearance is goin to be around 5" or more i had an invader kit and supra bomex kit so my fronts were really low

what he's saying is that to get a 2" drop, you'll have to go with coilovers rather than springs (Eibach's for example)

There aren't many springs out there that can achieve a 2" drop, so in order to get that you need to use coilovers. Don't buy Ebay brand coils. Go with Ground Control or Tein SS if you have the money. Like Playr said, get new shocks/struts either KYB's, Koni, or Bilstien.

What size tire do you plan on running?

it looks the same.....its only an inch difference in rim size....

you'll probably have about 6-9 inches worth of ground clearance in the front...
"why do you say coil? 2" drop is low enough isn't it?"
Coilover's are how you achieve a 2" drop

"with 17" rims am i going to be up high? "
now this doesn't even make sense.....how do you go up if your lowering?
lowering means go down...makes you sit lower not higher

but relationally a lower'd car on 14" wheels next to a car lower'd the same amount on 17" wheels might see a slight difference in ground clearance

I started with stock 15's with around a 2inch drop (atleast as advertised) and it was very low... now since i got my 17's, the car is still low, but sits a little higher and makes speedbumps a little easier... the rim size difference will be noticeable in the height and how the car drives around town with bumps and what not

I had 4'inches worth of ground clearance in the front... when my lip was on, until I let my best friend drive my car & he drove in a ditch & cracked the lip... (dont let Ford Probe guys drive your car)
