If it's OK with the site admin and such, I have a contact who makes VERY high quality vinyl stickers in just about any color including reflective (really cool) and metallic colors. I assume they'd be pretty inexpensive, and if it's cool with everyone, I will ask about the possibility of having a batch made. Just let me know.

Are the ones in the shop just the lettering or are they on a background??? I REALLY like the ones Akimbo (I think that's who it is) was making a while back. That's what I'm talking about having made.

the ones in the shop are just square stickers, not vinyl decals like the ones akimbo made, and they are smaller, chucky put one on his airbox, but he was expecting a vinyl sticker like akimbos, fastbird, id say if you can orchestrate another group buy, go ahead, i bought one of akimbos and wrecked my car befoore i received it in the mail, and now i cant find it, but i want another one for my new car!

If he's not willing to do an order by order basis, I told him that I'd pony up the money up front and get a mass order set up.

Ok, I got a reply yesterday evening. He's more than willing to do the stickers, just needs a vector file or .eps image of what we want. I had originally pulled the 6GC.net logo from another sticker thread and sent that, so I changed the file to a .eps and sent him that back. If that doesn't work, we'll see if we can't come up with something. Pricing at this point is unknown. What he's going to do is a test set or two and get them to me to see if that's what we really want.

Orders will be able to be done on a order by order bases, but bulk orders will reflect a decent savings. I'll probably do a group purchase initially for the best deal, and then single orders after that. I'm expecting pricing to run about $6-8 per set but DO NOT QUOTE ME ON THAT. Of course, metallic and reflective colors will cost more.

I based EVERYTHING going off of past history. I found in a thread that Akimbo's were approx 8 1/2" by 3" in size, and I aimed for the same thing.

Like I said about pricing, that is TBD at this point. I honestly don't know for sure what it's going to end up being. Rest assured, whatever it is it WILL be worth it. This guy does outstanding work.

They would be a great option IF they were what people wanted. Unfortunately, the background kills those for a lot of people. That's why I'm doing this, because your original stickers were VERY popular, and since you're not planning on doing them again I thought I'd take the initiative.

Just got a reply back. Unless someone has the original vector image that you can email me, it's going to take a little time for him to completely re-create the logo. No biggie, just a minor delay. He's working on pricing right now, should know that part soon. Just thought I'd throw an update.

Ok, here's the skinny:

He re-created the image and I can't tell a difference. Did an OUTSTANDING job.

These prices are a little steep, but personally, it's worth it. His stuff is top quality and the vinyl he uses is guaranteed for 7+ years.

Single Orders are $8 each for regular and $12 each for specialty (metallic) and reflective.

Orders in multiples of 5 are $5 each for regular and $8 each for specialty.

The multiple order stipulation for the lower price DOES NOT have to be all the same color. Here's the colors available:

Standard: Black, White, Red, Cardinal Red, Silver, Grey, Yellow, Orange, Hugger Orange (think 69 Z28 Camaro stripes), Chrome, and Blue

Reflective: Light Silver, Black, Red, Yellow, Blue Orange (these are REALLY cool and reflect any light at night, I'll try to post a pic).

Metallic and Specialty: Black/Gray Carbon Fiber, White Carbon Fiber, Metallic Purple, Metallic Silver, Extreme Metallic Silver (more flakes), Metallic Black, Metallic Blue, Pewter, Metallic Charcoal, Graphite Metallic, Metallic Gold, Brushed Aluminum, White Pearlescent.

A little bit more info: The stickers are right at 8" long, and I'm getting clarification as to whether the pricing is each or per set.

I'm having an initial white set made for our car (unless someone can convince me to do a color other than white........silver reflective maybe??).

It is a bit, but it's coming down a bit too. My guy didn't know that pretty much everyone was going to be ordering in pairs. That's going to help out a lot I think. You also gotta remember that his stuff is the shiz......The F-Body world has been his realm for years and there's a reason for that, a reason for why he's still doing it after several years.

Yeah, what I'm going to do is post a GB in the For Sale forum to start things off on an initial order as soon as the new pricing gets to me. I'm having an initial set made for myself in either white or Silver reflective to give a good reference on size and the reflective properties.
