Hey guys, im getting ready to turbo my celica!!!,,, im going to be using a log style manifold, will the garrett t25 fit that manifold? what other turbo's would you recomend i use,, im lookin for something that spools fast and im only going to be putting out about 6 psi.

would a turbo such as this one work? its a garrett t25 but it says mopar?

don't use a t25 its too small...
use a T3 60 trim

Would a T25 really be too small if you only wanted 6psi? Small turbo like that would spool really freaking quick too.

turbocalculator.com has been down for months, I think they went out of business. And I wouldn't point anyone else to that sticky of yours until your correct all the errors that I pointed out in it. smile.gif

I'm glad you're finally recommending the T3 60 though tongue.gif

Nate, the T25 will be just fine at a low boost level like that, they're used stock on the Eclipse which has a larger engine. However, you'll make more power with a larger T3 turbo at a lower temperature, but it won't respond as quickly.

However, the turbo in that link is not a T25, it's a T3 45 I think, it has a .48 turbine and .42 compressor.

how much of a difference in response time are we talking about here between the t25 and t3? and will the t25 fit the log style manifold?
