So I come home from a long day's work yesterday to find my dad's truck blocking my garage spot. This made me angry, as I had just washed it and it was starting to rain. I went inside and said "Can you move your truck so I can park?" he told me that Chris (my brother) has his car in there. So even more furious than before I storm outside to find what? A brand freakin new Crotch Rocket. My brother went out and got a Yamaha YZF600R from the dealership, no money down (idiot). He doesn't even have a license to drive a motorcycle, nor insurance, yet my parents let him ride around on it... In a way I think I am jealous, because I have wanted a bike for a long time, except not a Yamaha, a Suzuki GSX-R600 or maybe a CBR1000RR, but moreso mad that he gets to buy all these things with no thought of the possible repercussions they bring.

....Man I want a bike....

The girlfriend says I can't have a bike (well we might as well be married) because "I will kill myself".

Can't a man dream?

[/emo whining]

...but if you love him you (and your family) should chip in and buy him advanced rider lessons. leathers and the best helmet he can afford are also "de rigeur". nothing feels quite like high-siding a bike in a turn you didn't respect...me I know.

dont be jealous of a bike, wait till he wants to go out and its raining. It is a nice bike but most people dont keep there bikes for very long anyways, they usaully find out how dangerous it is and sell em. Anywho its nothin to be jealous about, if your dad said "He parked his new Evo in the garage" thats another story.

how old is your bro? most people buy a bike before lessons and everything else! i was going to buy a bike but then realized i pull some stupid crap with my car so id be dead instantly if i got a bike. Im too much of a risk taker.

well be nice to ur bro cuz then he will let you ride it ;-)

and dont listen to ur g/f! youre not married..u can do what you want and untill you share a bank account you can buy what you want!

He's 19. 20 in June. No job. Going into the NAVY this summer.

I think he thinks he is going to do what my dad did. When my dad was in the NAVY he had a bike. He put it on the boat and when they were docked he would take it off and use it as his transportation.

Ur a wise girl Tina. Just on my way, home tonight some kid was
riding a crotch rocket with a young girl on the back, lifting the front
wheel acting like a dumb ass. About a half hour later I came to
an intersection to see the same bike all piled up, cops everywhere.
