i recently wrote another thread about how the dmv and the superior court messed up my ticket and the payment i made for the fine. i appeared in court, got the issue settled, payed the original fine and got my record cleared up. today i come home, pretty happy, ready to go to work and i see a letter sitting on the counter for me from the dmv. and i think to myself, oh cool another restriction to my provisional license (because im under 18). so i open it up and read it. my license is suspended for not "appearing in court and paying the fine for the ticket." BUT I DID. the dmv is so F**ked up. i better not have to go to court again. people are stupid. i better go make some phone calls and get some credit card reciepts out

Perhaps there is a timing issue? Was the letter dated just before you paid the fine?

When I got my permit the DMV never mailed me my hard copy. I drove with my temporary paper copy for a year. Then I got my lisence, and got my hard copy. A few months later my wallet was stolen, so I went back down, paid the 15(or 25) bucks for a new one. Weeks go by, no hard copy. I call them up, and they said it was back with them, and I asked them why? They said my address didn't exist.

......

so I go BACK in and have to get ANOTHER copy of my lisence made, which the fat b*tch behind the counter wanted me to pay for. Basically, what happened is that when they were verifying my information, the fat woman's fat fingers hit a "2" and added it to my address, giving me an address of 406212, instead of 40621. I told her I wasn't going to pay for her mistakes. She said, "Your address has always been like this in our system." So I pulled out my old paper copy that had my correct address and said "Bitch! pay the man!"
