I guess even the real c-one is fiber glass. And that there isn't any eurathane kits out there for our cars. I didn't know that i figured the real veilside and real c-one would be eurathane

That looks awesome!
Now I'd like to know where to get the C-One front end that fits the JDM GT-Four hood I'm buying.
It's supposedly got a higher rise on the nose.
I'm just not a big fan of CF hoods, and IMO the JDM hood looks better.
But anyways.

Well today i actually took off the front and rear bumpers and fitted the bumpers. The front fits great and the rear will need some sanding. As for the sides they will be molded. Tomorrow im calling my friends shop and they are going to install the kit as well as paint them. It took a while for my kit to get to my house about 1 week, but i couldnt be happier!

Hm, im not sure about how the rise on the nose is. I would get a GT-4 hood (VIS hood) but im saving for a 3sgte swap, im actually selling my truck so i can have enough money for the swap. Hope to see some pics of your car with the kit soon!

--Thanks for everyone for their support and positive reply's! Soon i will have pics of the kit on and painted!

People did say that they had problems with the fitment of their c-one front and i was willing to take the challenge but yeah the front bumper fit well, I did not drill any holes i just used tape and books to put it in place and see how it fit. The real problem is the rear bumper on the driver side. The kit comes with a pre-template on the kit where the holes are on the actual car. Some spots are a little different though. Got the kit from WWW.JTRSPORT.COM it was 600 and shipping was a little bit more. Do it man i was so timid to get the kit because of fitment problems but now i have it and couldnt be happier!! I cant wait for the car to be ready to show off!

Well to my dissapointment, my car was not ready today. It seems they are having a little trouble fitting the front. But i guessed this would happen. When i get the car back i will measure for you and let you know.

eh, it looks badass until you see that fat ugly rear... I definatley woulda went with another rear option, something simple like a 404 rear lip... But all and all i think they did a pretty good job on the kit. Fitment looks pretty darn good, now all you need is a paint job that is all the same color and a black mesh instead. . . but those are all just my personal opinions....

What did they end up doing to the crash bar?

The kit doesnt fit with the crash bar on fellas. The only way you will be able to keep your crash bar is if you cut it basically in half. Then its still a tight fit. I took mine off. Didnt bother me.

Yeah the paint is a little different but that is due to paint fade. I am planning on a paint job this summer.
They did a good job with the fitment.

The crash bar is taken off.. it would not fit with the bumper.

Welp that sucks. Guess my front bumpers not going on. My bodyshop wont paint or put on the kit if the crash bar isn't on. I was told to shave the bumper to fit around it. But i take it that wont work?

Shave the bumper? Like do you mean mold? If you mold it will look good. Sooner or later i will get the sides and back molded.

After I sold the celi the new owner wrecked the front end on the interstate. Damage wasnt that bad. I dont think the crashbar would have helped any.

This is just my opinion...but taking the crash bar off is just retarded and i can understand why some body shops won't take it off cuz then they'd be held reliable as well. I would never jeopardize my well being for the looks of a car thats not even that "great." And ive seen many people on this site getting into accidents nowadays so that makes me question ur decisions even more. This is just MY opinion. Flame me if u want.

p.s. the front bumper looks nice though...u should get the c-one c/f hood to compliment the bumper

Yeah i can understand why some people would not want to jeopordize their well being, and dont get me wrong i care about myself as well. I actually did not know they were going to take it off untill i was there to pick it up and he gave me all of the old bumpers and stuff. Thanks the front is what i really like about the kit, but I think i am going to take off the rear and put my stock back on because i am not really likeing the bulkiness of the rear. I think im going to put stock back on and get either some splitters or a lip. What do you guys think?

Isnt it a 5 mph crash bar? Does it even help if you get in a wreck above that speed?

LOL i have no clue, but i doubt that the aluminum bar would do any help in a high speed crash. But then again its there for a reason...

I have no idea if it would help in a high speed crash. I just know my bodyshop wont touch my car if i take it off. So i hope i can figure some way out to fit the bumper over it. (celicaGT04) did you ever fit it up to the car with the bar on? If so how bad was the gap do you think? And how much would you think it would take to shave some of the crash bar to fit in with it?

Yes i did test fit the bumper with the bar on. But i did not bolt it on with it. I asked my body man why he took it off and he said its because it was a tight fit. I think that they might be able to shave some of the inside of the bumper if they really needed to fit the front on. They will find a way to make it work that is why they work there. If not then i guess like crismillencolin said get another body shop.

Well im fitting the kit myself. And i'm not gonna find another bodyshop because this is my old neighbor and cut me a great deal on everything that he is doing, also the best bodyman in my town. Not gonna go to a different shop and have them do a S***Y job. But i think i'll figure it out. A couple people on this forum have this kit with the stock crash bar on. So i'll get her done. Thanks guys and celicaGT04 your cars nice. can't wait to get mine done lol.

from what I recall from some chats I had back in the day you can just shave the corners of the bar to be like /-------\ instead of |-------| and that will make it fit with the c-one kit.
