heh...

so, how do you win first place with that steering wheel? gaaaag! there must not be very hard competition, bc that thing would turn major show judges away i'd think...

yes i do...right now i have a cover for shows but im looking into getting a new steering wheel, right now im low on funds so i'll get one when i have the cash.......and good lord all, why is it that when ever i post something it ends up being a war? I mean come on are we here to argue with each othedr and start **** or help each other out and compliment their cars.

And before I continue....yes i agree that my stering wheel looks bad but that doesn't mean that just because that isn't done, that my car shouldn't place. I'm not gonna go any further....im just disapointed in all the arguing and slamming that has been going on in 6gc latly. frown.gif

just speaking from experience, if you post in OT, you're going to get major random stuff being brought up in your thread... i thought this was definitely a general discussion thread, i would have put it there. i mean, it IS a thread about celicas.

im not blinded to the fact......look at the paint, the audio everything else on the car, i can see how it wins at shows, even with a wheel like that.....230000 goood things - 1 bad = 229999 good....so thats how it wins.

while that is a point, at a highly presigious show, something so flagrant wouldn't be passed, unless all the other cars were even more busted. something so large, would not even get a 2nd look. with a cover, sure, it'd be different, so that changes things. but how it's pictured, it is not a show winner. maybe place, but not a winner. and yes, just because of something like that. it shows a lack of completion, and a lack of 'care' in that one part. for lack of a better word. yes, other things are good, but that one thing CAN cost someone a show. again, the fact that there is a cover does change things, but i still say it should get fixed, and it is. the end. smile.gif

Replying to the steering wheel comment, I get that too.
Armor All Cleaning wipes (not Protectant) will take it
right off. It just means it gets driven. Very nice car. wink.gif

that was the first thing i noticed as well - shows around here a car could have everything amazing like the rest of her car, but since so many of the cars at the shows around here are all superbly done, one minor thing like a bad steering wheel... would "steer" them away... haha sorry, not funny!!! but yeah, nice car Christina, great work at all the wins!! smile.gif
