My little brother is looking for a car and I suggested a 6th gen celica. My mom was like "NO, that's a chick's car. He wouldn't look right driving one". My lovely mother isn't a car person so for her to spit those words out, there has got to be some truth to them. I have a 6gc that's slightly modified with NOTHING girly--so I'm sure my car doesn't have anything to do with her overall opinion about 6th gen celicas.

My father on the other hand, thinks celicas are slow. He warned me wayyyy before I bought my celica. I'm hardheaded and didn't care to listen, LoL.

well i agree with your father...but a *stock* celica is slow...it can be made to be very fast...and no i dont know where your mom gets it being a girly car...all the girls i know that own celicas...6th gens in general... are on here...none in real life...so i would have to disagree

Who cares?

If you ask me, the Celica is a girl car. It has the curves, smoothness, and looks of the womanly incarnation of an automobile. All the more reason to drive it.

Last time I checked, my passengers consisted of 3 girls and myself. Hmmmm. I'm going to go with it being a chick MAGNET.

a "man's car" would most definitely be an american car. and it would be nothing less than a v8. something classic, like an older GTO. maybe a 69 camaro. and it would have a blower sticking out of the hood. THAT would be a man's car.

More of a chicks car than a mans car. Mines a dude magnet because it looks like a supra but then when i tell them more about it they arent so impressed and tell me I should have gotten a supra - too bad theres just a SLIGHT price difference lol! Guys love my car but wouldnt wanna own one! lol!

i think its more of a 6th gen is an older womans car!

if u think that you'll get "chicks" riding in a celica, then im guessing you're still in high school. if you think that ANY car will get you "chicks" then you're just immature. if a guy gets a girl by riding in a nice porsche, bentley, ferrari, maybach or whatever. she's in it for the money. not the car.

hmm, i think i've been getting a pretty even gender split as the origin of my compliments.

girls say stuff like "your car is so pretty" and "i want one"
and guys say stuff like "cool car", and "damn, that's a pretty nice car"

it's certainly a car which lots of girls like, i guess a lotus elise would be a bit like that too. but i think a supra is a bit of a girl car too. then again, i just did some research on the porsche 917...so my current standard for guy-cars is set very high.

my older sister drives a 6gc, IT IS a chicks car, all show and no go! tongue.gif gotta admit, it does look sexy, just not a lot of chicks know about it/or they've never seen it before, heck, most guys dont even know what and how a 6gc is! a chick's car dont neccessarily mean that 9 outta 10 chicks drives it, take the g35 for example, it comes with tampons, but all i see driving these cars are old daddies and old mommies, another term "chick magnet" tongue.gif i would put it in, same thing ya? have fun.....
