Does anyone use these in there swaps? I have the fuel injector resistor hooked up but never had a plug for the fuel pump resistor.

I think alot do. A few years ago people said just bypass it but then people said nooo ur going to be so rich & burn ur fuel pump out faster.

Its kinda annoying having the whinebro on all the time but, oh well.

I dont think you have to really worry about it. Get an Adjustable FPR if your worried about it.

i dont have mine hooked up and im not running any more ritch then normal. im also on an OEM supra fuel pump that pumps more fuel then a whinebro. so not having it hooked up wont cause you any issues.

but i do have the fuel injector resistor pack hooked up. they look the same, so i dont know if people are confusing it with that sometimes.

keep in mind that turbo cars run more rich then normal. if you think that your running too rich, take out your sparkplugs and post some pics of them. they will tell you if your too rich or not.

The fuel pump resistor should only matter during idle and very low-load situations. Otherwise, the motor is consuming enough fuel (and fuel pressure is higher) that the stock fuel pressure regulator can handle it for sure.

Unless you only idled your car, your plugs probably wouldn't tell you anything (normal driving will clean the plugs reasonably well after a short time).

And Lagos, say it with me: "RICH" ... "RICH" ... "RICH"

Ritch is name, not a word. (sorry, my eyes burn every time I see you type it that way)

Im not running the fuel pump resistor pack and i think im running REALLY rich. I post pics this weekend when i take off my intercooler. Hey Lagos i was just thinking, wouldnt you make up for all that extra fuel by running your car at a hight boost level? im running stock boost right now but i would imagine that by turning up boost i will compensate for all that extra fuel and not run as rich. Is that rational thinking? let me know please thanks

if you have a jdm ecu, then your car should be running almost a perfect 11.5 : 1 afr . thats perfect and you dont really want to lean that out. so there is no need to do anything to fix that.

Im in the middle of the wiring of my 3s-gte wiring swap. I wired the f/p resistor into it. Its not that hard.
