Ive seen some people get some good results from placing them on the A Pillar. I have mine on the side view mirror cover too though

im thinkin about putting in components in front and back. Front tweeters are going in the stock mirror triangle, but im going to put the back ones next to the back speaker grills but on the rear most side. Ill put up picks if i decide to go this route. I think ive seen this done before, and the audio store guy thinks itll sound pretty goood

For the guy asking how to wire component tweeters, this linkshould help with the entire process.

as far as the tweeter mounting goes, i decided to not mount it where the stock tweeter is. The stock tweeter was too hard too remove from the mount, so i just disconnected and eliminated it. i purchased the st covers to cover where the old tweeters were and drilled into my door panel.

the set of components i purchased were the Kicker 600.2 Component Speakers. they sound great.
