I like it. If I could have that bodystyle with AWD and a 300 hp 3SGTE for less than 30k, I would most likely buy it.

Maybe I'm the only one but I really don't like the body style of that car very much. I think sixth gens look so much better than that. smile.gif It would be sweet to have a all wheel drive and a powerful engine though.

Coomer i think this is the first time that i don't agree with you. Yes the 6th gen celica has the best body style of all celicas. but if that is going to be next body for the celica it is an much better improvement over the current 7th gen. and if it does come out as an all wheel drive even better.

You guys are probably refering to the ST215 Caldina; the new version looks very similar to the Matrix we get stateside. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll bring over both the GT-FOUR and Caldina to compete with the WRX sedan and wagon.

... yeah, that'll happen tongue.gif

I'm gonna have to agree with Coomer on this one peeps...I'm not all that fond of the looks of the car..but i would love to have the performance aspects of it.

I also agree with ghost dog as well...they do need something here to compete with the WRX..man...toyota would make way more money if they'd just send more stuff over here... frown.gif

I really don't like it either but then again I hate the 7th gen.... At least it looks better than the prototypes of the 04 supra.... that looks like a saturn on steriods

haha that's great Neverstop, your defintely right about those Supra pictures-

and I'm not too fond of that new GT-Four picture, definitely liking the 7th generations more. I like 7th gens probably because their one of the most 'futuristic' cars on the market.

On a side note, 6 speed Matrix's are HOT.

Well, it's an improvement on the current gen 7 thats for sure, but I reckon the 6 gen is the still the best looking Celica.
The gen 6 has the kind of clean lines and distinctive styling that will make it a future classic. Curves rule biggrin.gif

Facelift bumper-foglights-clear indicators, clear side repeaters, 16in O.Z alloys, stainless steel grill. JDM facelift tail lights. clear sidelights. Retro-fit A/C conversion. APEX performance springs. Remus exhaust. K&N performance filter. KYB excel G shocks.
Hyundai coupe Mk 3 (US Tiburon) leather seats. Gen 7 s/wheel. SR black vinyl door cards. Late spec spoiler-less tailgate with 3rd brake light.

The pic doesn't really do anything for me, not as radical in
looks as the 7th gen was, that was the good thing about
the 7th gen you either liked it or hated it but you knew there
was nothin out there like it (it's futuristic looks). This Gt4
pic looks as if the designer couldn't make his mind up
whether to be radical and innovative without upsetting
those people who like safe conservative lines on their cars,

Jon
