the people that saw it happen said my car came up off the ground. The guys minivan(oh yeah did i mention that he had no insurance) had my white paint all over his hood. and to boot I dont even know if I got the job.

I dont know yet. I have to wait and see what the insurance company says in the morning. My cars only worth 6000. I dont know how much the damage is so I am gonna have to wait it out. If its totaled then I might try to part it out. Im not too sure yet.

if they say its totalled and you want to fix it yourself hit me up ill come out and help you anytime you want

in a way its good we live in mass when its the other guys fault, stuff is pretty strict here and since he had no insurance he is most likely going to get into quite a mess from this, did the cops come to check out the scene?

Edit: which mall were you at lol maybe ill know it

glad to hear your ok man. A car can be replaced, your physical well-being cant. But as bad as it looks...to me, it doesnt really look that bad.
i can help you out with a new door, and a quarter panel if a quarter panel off of a convertible would work on a hatch.

doesn't look too bad. mostly just some body damage. make him buy new projectors, including the clear highs. and you're door looks pretty bad so you should upgrade those too. maybe some lambo conversions. maybe not. i hope you don't end up getting rid of the car.

whoa! another 99!! The door and fender shouldnt be hard to fix.. the quarter panel seems to be the only hard part to fix. This also happened to my cousin.. his TRD Solara was rear ended by a Cox truck.. the driver was not insured and Cox wont do anything about it!

Although, I am not around(I am actually from Hong Kong), let's see what I can help, handy parts like pax side projector, I can help to order and mail to you, just quote the price from your local dealer and compare; perhaps you can save some.

Sorry man...hope you decide to keep it.

you know what you should do, go to a junkyard, get a door and fender ($300 at MAX) let some guy fix the back, then get it painted, your back to new (with the exception of the headlight) for under $600. And if your car is totalled (hope not) i'd be more than happy to buy the high's from you.

Glad to hear your OK...its always sad when a 6gc gets involved in an accident, but its only a car and can be replaced/rebuilt...as long as your unhurt (appart from your wallet) thats the main thing.

Best wishes from the UK smile.gif

so I went to the body shop to sign for the work to get done. the guy that owns the shop said that they are gonna go ahead and repaint the entire car then after that they told me to have the guys at Toyotaworld fax them an invoice for my headlights(hi's and lows) and they will just make an adjustment to the claim. so just to clarify I am getting the passenger projector and the clear hi beams thanks to my insurance company.biggrin.gif biggrin.gif and my entire car will be repainted super white
