Kentucky/Tennessee meet, Anybody down? Options

i would really like to have a meet with a couple of fellow 6th geners if anybody would be interested from the kentucky, tennessee, ohio area.



...the So cal meets are a little far for me.

Count me in on that. There are many good places across the state to meet up and do some driving. Land Between the Lakes, Natchez Trace Parkway, and a few others!!! Just give me a time and date.

Hey Celi_GT_Racer....I am actually from pretty much Huntingdon's backyard, Paris. I grew up there my whole life and now moved to Memphis for school and career.

But seriously fellow 6gcers. We should try to get the ball rolling on this meet, looks like we could have a fair enough turn out.

I agree with the above. A lot of people will be starting school throughout the Tennessee area whether its highschool or college within the next couple of weeks. So if we are gonna do something, it needs to be soon if possible and will definatley need to be on a weekend. But we must figure out a location as well.

i have 2 porsches, 1 NSX, 1 camero SS, 1 M3 and my jetta coming on that weekend
its an organized group...getting hotel and accomedations ect.

and i doubt there will be snow
but boosted motors + cooler air temps = more power
and its my birthday weekend

When: Sept 8-10 or 15-17. (I'd almost go for the latter date, just because there is a show at Zanies on the 8-10 that I kinda want to go to.)
Where: Bowling Green, KY. (Friday night open drags at Beech Bend around 5pm, $5 to enter - $5 to run, Corvette factory, Mammoth Cave, etc. There are a few parks there. Western Kentucky University. Etc.)

That's my contribution. Then there's always Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, but Bowling Green is more centralized. Anyway. No one else added anything, so I figured that i would. Any opinions, and who could make those dates? Also, I will probably leave work Friday early, so I can make it to the track to run the Slowica, as long as others could meet around that same time. Blah.

15-17 of September at the above place. either around 5 at the park, or after 5 somewhere else. Also, would anyone need a hotel? bc i'll probably stay for at least friday night, and maybe saturday night too. but we could probably juts find a hotel once we get there..

hey man i live in bowling green so if you have any questions about where to do it just give me a PM or something. we had a Honda meet at Three Springs Park earlier in the summer, it had a huge turnout, we even had a dyno. it was pretty sick, if we can spread this thing it'll be just as good. well it'll be better automatically cause we ride toyotas and not hondas
