Well, the first meet was a success, so let's do it again.

I need the help of you Orlando babies to help me organize this.

I'd like this to be an all weekend meet. As in, get there Saturday morning, and leave Sunday afternoon. As in.. get a hotel.

So any input would be nice.

Okay, the consensus looks like the September date would be better. So I took it upon myself to make it official.

Colin has suggested we make it a Friday/Saturday type deal, so we can go to the drag strip Friday night. I think that is a grand idea, what does everyone else think?

Ok, Drag Strip friday night. Pool hall again? Or bowling? Probably can't go clubbing becuz most of you'z are underage of 21. I can get you guys in some clubs ViP access but uh.. I don't know if that's what yall wants to do. Then we need a place to crash. There is alot of motels around the Orlando area. Then we have breakfast/lunch somewhere. Then we need to do some fun stuff afterwords... GM studios anyone? I think I can try to get free passes from my cousin.

I had a dispute with them but they just contacted me that they were depleted and were manuafacturing more and mine should be shipped out on Tuesday without any delay. I bought it for 200 shipped so hopefully I will get it painted in time becuz I already got he paint here waiting. Woot can't wait! Look soo sweet with the invader kit!

You go to towers? I usually go with some friends, one with a green Golf(veedub euro plate) and a teal Camaro. We never park inside though, usually in the lot infront of maggie moos. You can go to google maps and click directions, then type in like melbourn, fl to ft lauderdale, fl and it will give you like an estimate since it doesnt know exactly where youre coming from.

We all could meetup Friday afternoon and I guess have lunch some where before we head out to the track. I don't know but we will figure something out. We always do. As for hotels/motels/inns goes, I have that resolved. Here you go Jen. http://www.speedworlddragway.com/maps-motels/ That is a major list of hotels near the drag strip. Also keep in mind that we need to stay in the ones WEST of the drag strip becuz that way we are closer to I-4. I guess me or Jen or both will have to scope out which one is cheapest.

OK! I just did some homework here. As of right now, the best rates are... Hilton Garden Inn Orlando East/UCF $75.05 a night per bedroom and Crossland Economy Studios $73.99 a night per bedroom thus being the closer one to the drag strip. The others on the list are $80+ or doesn't have rooms available for check-in 09/01 check-out 09/02. I hope this helps guys.

EDIT: Oh yeah don't forget guys, I'm turning 21 on the 19th of August so I'll be able to help buy drinks! Mwahahahaha! I'll also being bringing play cards. Regular deck and Uno.

Well it really depends becuz Ben Gary and Casey are coming from western side and are closer to I-75 and I-4 while I-95 is all the way to the east side of Florida. I guess you guys will have to work something out. But as far as meeting where? We have to figure out what we are doing first so that way we know where to meet and where to go and what to do.

I've got a '97 ST... so I would pretty much embarrass myself on the drag strip... but I'd definitely love to come see your cars and get some ideas of way to modify my celi. My car is pretty much all stock... so yeah... the drag strip should definitely be a spectator sport for me haha.

Anyways... I live in Winter Park and don't know my way around at all... is there anyone that would maybe meet up with me and let me follow them maybe? I swear I couldn't find my way out of a paper bag. lol.

Yeah, I am now living in Altamonte Springs which is right above Winter Park. I know the whole central florida area. So I could meet up with you if you want. And if you want Eric, you could look at my celica details. I researched a lot of stuff and finally finalized the best parts for my car for a 7AFE setup. It could give you a idea on what to do with your celica. If I were you, I wouldn't buy any exterior parts just yet such as body kits. You will be more satisfied with performance upgrades. And if you got any questions for the best prices, I got alot of links on the web you can get parts for low prices.
