I jsut instlled my short ram on the car (temporary), and right after WOT, the idle gets realy high, the first time it was at 2k and the secound it was at 3k.

Its realy freakin me out, i have both of the extra breather thingies capped off, and the air sensor in pluggd in.I just got an oil change but idk if that could cause anything like this.
I would love any suggestions, thanks

You occasionally need to reset the ECU when changing from a Panel Filter to a CAI. If you take the ECU fuse out thats in the box in the engine bay for 15mins then I think that does it.

I'm sure someone will confirm this. I did it to mine when I put mine on but didn't need to do it when I swapped the filters back again.

The reason for the big idle change is more than likely a leak on the intake. The ECU doesn't affect idle as much as 2000-3000 rpms due to a minor change like a short ram...

hmm, i taped off those breather ports on it, i dont think i had the small one closed right. and i had em hooked together.
My idle is back down, and man when that manfold opens up it gets loud. I love the sound!
