I mean, the first two were full of toyos and Hondas and the Third one was focused on Nissans (even if the last shots were with a ford with a Nissal Engine). Heck the first one even had a jetta. But Subs, nowhere at all. I hope they are not waiting for FnF 4!!!!!

Oh yeah, and Mitsus were in all of them.

Subaru is for real drivers.

lol @ that

Those cars practically drive themselves. If you want a REAL driver's car, try something that actually requires skill to drive correctly. Midship RWD cars are a good example of this (porsche, mr2, etc).

I dont think that this has to do with car appearance or car performance,it has to do with agreements, i think the production company has a share on the sport car sales market beacuse Car Companies as Nissan and Mitsubishi realise that the F&F Series move the market on sport cars and performance parts.
Ehmm...Neoklis the films are FULL of Nissan and Mistubishi, only the first part was about the Supra.i dont see any Toyos around.Check out F&F2 (Evo,Eclipse and Skyline),F&F3 (Evo,S15.350z).

I think that they are not using any Subarus in the 3 Films beacuse was a serious problem about the delivery time of the film tongue.gif (Subarus all the time have problems like engine, gearbox, diffe etc so they have to fix them over and over...) tongue.gif tongue.gif

you must be crazy, subaru's are extremly reliable cars. Not sure who told u they have alot of problems. And whoever stated STi drivers are punk rich kids, I feel sorry for you. Go to www.iwsti.com and do some research. Im assuming you based your 'theory' from watching videos on streetfire.net.

For the first movie, the production just got whatever cars they wanted and could get that they felt showed the good variety of the tuner culture.

The second and third one, Mitsu and Nissan respectivly paid them for product placement as well as provided vehicles. This happens all the time in movies. The reason people use Macs or drink a Pepsi in a movie is because those companies paid the production to use their product. Its all just advertisement.

LOL i attacked you? sorry you get your feelings hurt so quick. If u think attacking was by me saying put an MR2 on a dirt track, then ur sadly mistaken. And brianforster whoever the **** u are, please just stfu, grown men talking here. So if fastgt if u thought i was attacking u, my bad, it was meant as a joke. (think about it, an MR2 on a rally course) its obvious rally is meant for AWD cars.

wow. . .

wrx's are awesome cars, but when you are in an area that's known for housing families with money, it's kind of annoying to see STi's, Evos, and E46 M3s, and whatever else there is just floating around in the hands of what look to be 16yr olds...just, slightly depressing, but it's jealousy...which is bad.

by the time i get the money to beat the sti, they're gotten mods to pull on me...booooo

btw, lots of cars these days drive themselves, it's technology, and it's not bad smile.gif

I suggest you spend a little time on m2oc.com, before you continue to make a fool of yourself in this thread. Or better yet, quit while your ahead. You've already stuck your foot in your mouth twice (telling a former subaru employee, and a former subaru owner that they need to research, and stop getting their info from streetfire videos).

Back on topic,

Maybe subaru didn't allow the motion picture company to use their cars? I would think the film would need permission?

Dont need to "think about it" the mr2 HAS been rallyed, point is it CAN be. I dont see your FWD celica being rallyed.
Rally mr2, sorry to ruin your imagination.

by the way, the wrx in reliablity issues, why is it called a "glass transmission?"
I dont like subarus due to their owners, ive been proven wrong but most of them here are stis running on mommy and daddys credit cards here in socal. I can throw links around to. Nasioc.com, people who bash their OWN fellow subaru owners. Yup, your right, mature to the end.

OMFG, I would never believe we would argue about subs in a Toyo forum.
I was looking for an answer in the lines of maybe its ugly/not reliable/company did not wanted to have Subs in the film.

btw, its a movie, so any argument about track road/staight line or whatever does not really hold any water.
Heck, they used an Evo for drifting in the 3rd one. How pathetic is that.

Also, toyos were fairly represented in the films. Supra in both 1 and 2, MR-S in a couple of shots in the 2nd movie and the black Lexus at a head on collission with the 350Z in the third. but yeah, no real representation in the 3rd movie. Probably because Toyo does not really have any new good sport cars the last few years

my car hasnt broken anything so far and im making ~100whp more than stock. even ran a 70shot threw the car multiple times.

um, maybe because they get 20mpg? my friend has a IX, he drives fast and accelerates pretty good everywhere he goes and gets 17-20mpg.

if i was driving his car, it would get 20-22mpg, same as i get in my wrx. this is all city driving btw. freeway he gets 25-28mpg, i get 27-30mpg

and an h2 hummer gets 8-9mpg. they purposely mae the car as heavy as possible so that the car falls into the same class as f250's and 2500+ series trucks, all of which are not mandated by the government to have a minimum MPG rating and they also dont have to show what MPG they get on the window sticker.

Nasioc is a horrible forum. nuff said

its called a glass transmission because in 02 and 03 they were weak. 04+ trannys are quite a bit stronger. there are people running as much as 400whp on the stock 5spd. and there are also people that break it with stock power

my 5spd in my wrx never broke, infact, i have only met 2 people in person that broke the stock 5spd. one was one of those guys that breaks it with stock power, the other BEAT THE LIVING CRAP out of his 02 transmission. 6krpm clutch dumps and hard shifting, it lasted through almost 3 years of that and finally broke at about 60k miles because he put in an act 6puck clutch. i drag raced my car with the 5spd way too many times to count, launched the hell out of it, and oh yea i finished learning to drive MT on the car. i have the sti 6spd now, sold my fully working 5spd for almost half of what i bought the 6spd for.

damn near all the STI's i see at the local meets are driven by guys in ther mid to late 20's, some maybe even early 30's. if i see an sti driving around, its usually a 30+ year old guy. its rare for me to see a 16yo driving an STI. the youngest person i knew personally was a 20yo friend of mine, and he paid for everything himself. the 16yo's get WRX's, srt4's, honda's, lifted trucks
