why? why do people hate my celi? Options

somebody threw up on my car last night. I honestly don't understand why people have to vandalise my car. there are TWO POS honda civics sitting near-by (and no, I'm not saying that a honda civic in general is a POS, I mean one is riced out with clear corners and walmart hub-cabs, and the other is half black, and half bondo/primered...) and of the three cars, they choose to try and destroy the one that is mine. if they destroyed my dad's civc, my parents would be like "oh well..." then buy a new car. I don't have that option.

Anyway, I've decided it's time to invest in a car cover. Any suggestions? I've heard there are ones with locks on them so you can't take it off without unlocking it. also, are there ones that are like dent resistent that might help if someone door dings me, or a stray shopping cart runs into my car?

a bucket of soapy water and a hose.


Just relax and don't take it personally. Drunk people don't know what the hell they are doing.

And car covers can get stolen if you park out on the street, or even close to it.

crap that sucks bro...i know the feeling tho. few months back i found my car had been puked on, milkshaked, egged, creamed (i think?), and some banana'd on all at the same time. obviously was targeted but for what purpose...i dont know took awhile to wash off tho

well, I hosed it off immidietly after discovering it. and have just finished a much needed full-wash.

I've never heard of car covers being stolen. there is a guy who lives across the street from me that has a car cover on his old thunderbird sitting in the driveway. the cover has been on for years (since I moved here like 8 years ago) and I've only seen it off about 3-4 times. his cover has never been stolen.

maybe... but what gets me is that there was some on the mirror, some on the door, and some on the rear window... must've been a drive-by (walk-by) vomitting....

anyway, the people whom I assume would be responsible for it would be the neighbors that live two doors down from me. they're the only people (or their friends) that live fairly close that would actually get drunk enough to vomit on someone's car. the funny part is, while I was outside washing the car, I saw one of the people there drive away (subs a' thumpin') and maybe 20 minutes later drive back... get out of his car and start walking down the street.. all of a sudden, he turns around and starts walking back to his house... I'm kinda confused, but then I see a cop coming down the street he pulls up to him and gets out of the car... at first the cop seems angry, then I can't hear them anymore.. so I don't know what happened but 15 minutes later the cop left... If they were the ones that did this, I sure hope the cop gave them a ticket for something.

Especially at Performance shops. Like Mahdavi Motorsports in Lilburn, GA. ( where i live). The guy literally said " you bought the wrong car" ...... hell no i didn't buy the wrong car. Just cuz it can't hang with a R33 skyline doesn't mean its not a very good car. ( a guy was gettting his skyline fixed so thats why it was in the convo) .............that kinda pissed me off too...... he bascially said, its not an "enthusiaist's car" .... come on now, he's the one who specializes in CIVICS. I do give him props for specializing in Supras... but hell no.. saying that these cars can't hang with a turbo charged civic? you gotta be kidding me!

my old friends used to like making fun of my old VAN as it was a VAN. and so one day i come outside and there is a dead bird under my windshield wiper... (it gets worse) then another day they decided to crisco the entire van, then cover it in syranwrap then put flour all over it so it would dry and harder...

Stuff like this just happens. With time they will get theirs, dont worry.

oh and BTW, 3 of them just lost their jobs, and 1 of them got kicked out of their house

aw dude...that ain't right. my m-b got egg'd in the meijer parking lot one night not too long ago. i was pissed.

not as pissed as i was when a buddy and i were pulling up to his house after a long night of bmx'ing and i see a f#cking cat chilling on the roof of my car. f#cker clawed all up and down the hood climbing up there, and the when i confronted his neighbors (the cat's owners) about it, they denied that their cat ever left the house and threatened to call the cops on me.

i sympathise, and just hope that eventually people will learn to respect other people's property.

I got chips of the black plastic moulding next to the rear part of the door glass missing. And the car alarm goes off every couple weeks.

well, a neighbor of mine a few houses down had his accord vomitted on as well on the same night. so unless they accidently threw up on a car TWICE I think it was intentional.

I play my music fairly loud, but I don't have subs, and two of my speakers are blown, so my music is only loud to me, you would barely hear it if you were 2-3 car lengths away.

I drive pretty crazy occasionally, but usually not around my neighborhood (or any residential area for that matter) and I don't see how my car could be ricey since it's 100% stock on the outside.
