refilling 7afe oil i went over the limit w/o noticing (guess for 0.5 liter), i took the car for a ride and a lot of smoke, stoped at home, trying to drop the extra oil, dropped some but it stops at certain point but cant drop more (im like 7% over the full F limit), and now the car is running funny, very low rpms on idle, i dont wanna try taking it out with that, now dunno what to do

i did that, but its still overfilled and no more oil drops

the oil indicator is like
E|------------|-F
like 10% over the limit

dunno why it doesnt drop, the drain plug is out and the oil cover at the top of the engine too

thats pretty much impossible?
if your drain plug is out...all your oil is GONE

are you whiping off the dip stick after each check?

Alright, if you put too much in... u can get under your car and loosen the plug to your oil pan which is right past the plastic under guard and let some out, if you think somethings blocking your dip stick I personally know that our 1.8l engines will take exactly 4 quarts of oil and be within the E---------F . That picture you posted is of your oil filter..... which you replace after you drain the oil. Any more questions PM me.

Im confused though. Is that where you drained your old oil out from? From the pic, it looks like your oil filter is off. I don't understand how you removed it without alot of your oil draining out and still being 10% over full. confused.gif

dude, you gotta get UNDERNEATH your car to find the oil drain plug and oil pan. I would do it soon before your blow a seal or gasket or some sh*t with that much oil in it.

So you drained one liter, hmm which is just a little under a quart. how much oil did you put back into your engine after you drained it? I recommend you completely change your oil again becuase your new oil mixed with about 3/4ths of your old oil. But this time drain the oil from under the car.

Sorry i dont have any oictures of a 7afe, but this is the best i could come up with...

Ok go under your car, a little but more on the passenger side. you should look for your oil pan, it looks something like this...
IPB Image

There should be a bolt there. that is the one you want to remove, but make sure you have a big container under there first before you remove it cuase im guessing you have about 5-6 liters of oil in your engine (depending on how much you put back in. Im just guessing this amount becuase 4 quarts will usually get you between E--------F, but you say your passed F) but anyways good luck with it smile.gif

yes,i found the oil pan that looked as the one in the pic u posted and found the bolt, i removed from bit to bit till the oil marker was at full, then all putted back, no white smoke or anythnig like that but engine is moving like in normal conditions would do at 500 rpm but at 1100 rpm, no response problems or anything, just that, maybe a lil noise but sounds like the alternator rubber connecting it with the engine, im thinking the problem might be the "oil" i removed the first time, but i have no clue where is it from

hmm the video wasn't working for me.

haha don't kill yourself man, just step back and take a deep breath haha. Since i can't see what the problem is, i don't really want to recommend anything else that could possibly put you in a worse situation. You should prolly have a mechanic look at it before moving on.
