What most of us have here for the 8" midsubs are the kicker rmb8 model. Infiniti reference or the kappa models are good. Boston acoustics.

I mate, I recommend this JBL package ( GT01202D 12" 1200W subwoofer (NEW 2005 model)
# JBL GTO-75.2 - 260W RMS (500W max approx) amplifier )
http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/p...ts_id/1233.html

It give the thump u need and the rumble as well. Don't forget a grill to cover it up.

i never liked the idea of the subs in the front... so i put them in the rear speaker locations...

i replaced my rear speakers with elemental designs EU-700s they're pretty good (but they are my first set of subs)... u could try some image dynamics ID8D2 V3

JL Audio 6w0 are direct fit for your rear speaker locations and are 6.5" subs. Alternately, JL Audio 8w0 are a direct fit for the front stock location.

I just installed some Alpine Type-R components in a friends car, its an eclipse, but these things have some bass, and they are probably the cheapest route for some good name brand speakers. I would suggest going this route, and then if you still want more bass maybe buy a small 8 in sub or some kinda powered sub.

Pretty much the route I took. Polk db650's in the front doors (which surprised me how low they hit), and an 8" sub with a 150-watt amp. Nice balanced bass, imho.
