Hey Guys. I just wanted to see approx how many members would be interested. Yes the hatches are by VIS.

Say 5 members seriously commit to this and it'll be around $549 shipped to a business address. Includes tracking # and FULL Insurance.

6strngs.... You live in Livermoore. I'm planning a Northern California trip to drop off some parts. If you need any thing let me know and we can meet when I get up there.

I would love to do this...but i'm worried about the whole how much glass would cost to put that in and what else would need to be done to complete the install.

so if we can get more people, price goes down?

btw, i think it's bolt on..take your old glass and put on your carbon fiber hatch. the wiper is an issue. would i have to drill a hole for my rear wiper? what's the weight difference in the stock hatch and the carbon fiber hatch? it is REAL CARBON FIBER right? im still very interested.

its 1 layer real cf over top of fiberglass...if you want a spoiler/wiper then yes you have to drill the holes on your own....

Honestly guys. That price is pretty low already. I'm not sure if we can even get 5 guys to commit on these. I know some of you guys are serious and some are still saving up. Those of you who are ready can pay and those who are really interested but don't quite have the funds, can leave a non-refundable deposit of $100. Once the quota of 5 have been full paid OR deposited, then I can start shipping out the hatches for those who paid in full. Once others have paid off balance then their hatch will be shipped then.

I hope this is the best way that will work out for you guys. Thanks!

got a question!

you guys know that there are some panels that go on the hatch right? does the carbon fiber hatch have pins where i can put that on or do i not need it? what about the middle brake like on the hatch? what holds it? does anyone have pictures of the inside? how long does carbon fiber usually last? peel?

i have money ready to go through but need to know some things before i can really commit to buying.

1) the brake light goes in just like normal
2) the plastics aren't used on the CF hatch (99% sure)
3) carbon fiber doesn't peel...this isn't a sticker kindasad.gif although after a few years or so i can fade a little from UV damage

inside looks something like this

if you want to add the plastic panels, you will have to add holes for the clips
