I have a little dummy question wich is better wetsand with 2000grit or 2500grit? i'm going to shoot my car in two weeks and i need to get plenty of supplies biggrin.gif

I wetsanded with 2000 grit (no 1000 or 1500) and my paint came out like glass once I buffed it. I often hear people recommend to finish with 2000 as well, so I'd go with 2000...2500 will just be more work.

ok Thanks Coomer! and another question did do you use swirl mark remover from 3M? i'm thinkin in buy a perfect-it kit (Rubbin Compound, Swirl Mark Remover, Finishing Glaze)

Thanks 4 all, one more thing, if anybody know's a nice tip to how to buff a fresh paint it will be welcome, since i'm a first timer on this so, i'm afraid to burn the paint.

i really gave up on doing my own and have my friend do it (runs a detailing business)

but what color are you painting?
it also depends on the type of paint your car will have on it....soft/hard ect...

My car is going to be shoot with Acrylic Enamel Paint Single Stage or probably Clear coat over it, and is Toyota Super White II, i believe.
