I've been thinking lately that I might finally break down and get an Ipod, I was looking at the 30 gig video because I have about 15 gigs of music on my computer. But I'm worried that there might be a new ipod coming out as soon as I get mine. So, I was wondering if any geeks know if they plan to release a new ipod generation in the near future? I don't want to get something and have it beome out of date instantly.

The new one has been out a month or so. Its still considered a generation 5. More like a 5.5. Has longer battery life, 50 bux cheaper, some added features. They kept the 30 gig, but increased the 60 to a whopping 80 gig.
