Celica & Focus...twins? I think not Options

This guy last night said the dumbest thing - he thinks our cars are similar except for the fact that his doesn't have a sun roof! I asked what he drives & he said "a ford focus". I stared @ him......wanted to smack him but instead I said "so your car gets mistaken for a Supra?" he said "well... no but your car is a 2 door...& mine is a 2 door....."

Anyway I stopped listening after that, what a friking idiot. So the lesson today boys & girls is - Don't do drugs

They do not look like supras

It always seems like people point out how people tell them their celicas look like supras because they think they've got something better than they've really got.

It's like if I owned a yaris and got on the yaris forums and was like

"someone told me today my car looks like a new camry "

It's a simple marketing gimmick by toyota. This car has a couple of similar characteristics of a more expensive car, therefore they will sell more of the model.

??? I didn't say that it was the first marketing gimmick, and I wasn't trying to make it seem like having a marketing gimmick was such an outrageous thing. Of course car companies have gimmicks, and I was stating that this is one. They built it so you would think you were driving something alot nicer, and sometimes members on this board get uppity at the mere fact that... "hey my car kinda sorta looks like a supra "

either way thats more believable than someone thinking it looks like a ford focus thats for damn sure...
