I apologize for being so slow...client projects and work are killing me. But in a few days, I will take the voting form offline and start processing photos for the calendar.

Yup that was hard to do!! Lots of nice pics. I wish we could have been able to click on them for a larger view...sometimes seeing it bigger helps make my decision <---- thats what she said (the office fans will know) lol

I'm voluntering for the photo modifications. (proper contrast and color, removal of power lines etc., photo resize at correct dpi, etc...). I'm a graphic designer with years of experience in pre-press, not some schmo who downloaded photoshop by the way

If you have somebody to do that its fine, but I want to do some changes on mine myself...if I do it in the final ones...

I found a candidate. I remembered this from the other thread. If I knew anything
about it I would do it. I can help with anything fairly idiot proof that can free up your
time. I'm a good errand boy. I can run to Yakima if need be. Thanks for doing
this we all know you are very busy.

I could easily work with the winning images, I know how to add extra spaces around image and extend the border..And crop/frame it properly.I do that all the time at my work!



This is just an example of what I did with the image I submited.











Notice how I made a panoramic picture from the original, I moved the car to the left (in relation to the bridge), and widened the horizon. I also removed the powerlines and played with the brightness. Rarely is a picture good enough from a camera to print and look descent(unless of course your a professional photographer!)

If the cafepress thing is a big hassle I could check out a local
print shop for a price for printing one. I don't know anything
about editing photos though. I would buy an un edited calendar if

Maybe... after that, calendar will be distributed and it will take another week, maybe two you will have it in your hands... so... first time you will have chance see that calendar is in a month from now... . If Coomer thinks her can’t do it and there’s still a demand, I can do the full thing at the print shop I work at. I checked the price and it would be around around 30$US each + shipping. I think its kind of expensive myself but for such low volume, its the price to pay. It would be 8.5x11 with spiral binding, full color with cardstock cover. I don’t know if there’s a quark or indesign template to use..I never had one before.

Still, that's late February. Early March at the earliest? Honestly, I'm down. I'm not sure who all else is, maybe there should be a 6gc poll, just so Coomer can know who all is still in. Dude, that's still 9-10 months, i'll pay ~$30 for a calendar, hell yeah.

I've just been so busy and stressed that I haven't had a spare moment to work on this. Tonight I'll be sending the photos off to be edited, and hopefully next week I'll have the calendars online and for sale.
