hey everyone. Im just droppin to re-introduce myself, since ive never really said much on these forums (although i go on them almost everday laugh.gif )..but ive been a member for about a year now, n since i got my celi ive been into the show scene. A lil while back, I was plannin on selling the Celi in order to get a G35 or a 350Z..but then i fell in love with bikes biggrin.gif ..so i decided to keep the celica, dump all the money i had saved up for a new car into the celi..n get a bike biggrin.gif ..so I recently gave her a new look, a theres a list of the mods in my profile..here are the pics of th build and the final product:

so what yall think??..i plan to stick around n be more of a part of this forum, since it has helped me greatly..

..oh, and to give credit where credit is due..i would like to thank Madmods for "indirectly" motivating me to take on the project. I saw a pic of the bumper conversion he had done with the 01 celica bumper on his celica, n since then ive been motivated to do it on my celica, so this front end is not the first or "original", it was Madmods, but i like it, and ended up doing it anyway..so thanks Madmods biggrin.gif

..oh, n one last person..kudos to Dan (Playr158) for setting up the GB on the Lambo hinges for which i was the donor car, the doors added a nice touch to my car.

alright..opinions anyone?? all criticism accepted..
(sorry for makin this thread so long guys)..

looks good... i would never mold the front now because you're stuck with those lights since you cannot get the front bumper off... makes swapping suck too

^but it looks like the whole piece comes off with the fenders,
so it'll probably take a little more work to get to the headlights though..

wow nice to see you back around! looks like the hinges we had made are still in place doing their job. i have to say i defenitly prefer your new setup over the old, nice and clean...though the rear doesn't match the front as much as it could...very good job!

Nice car man. I've had some bad experiences with molded body parts, but that looks like a really nicely done job. smile.gif I have to say though, I think a nice TRD, or GT-4 spoiler would look a LOT better than the fin... kindasad.gif

see, i kinda thought of that ahead of time. Everything on the car is molded, except the part where the fenders meet the sideskirts, and i cut the sideskirt and fender in a way that makes it easy for the sideskirt to let loose of the fender (just two screws on each side), and theres numerous bolts that hold the fenders and bumper on the car. so basically, i just have to take off all the screws and bolts, and the whole front end comes off smile.gif
...so whenever i do the swap, i plan on having jdm projectors in hand, so i could throw those in while the swap is in progress wink.gif

..but about the wing..hey hey, i gotta have a lil rice left in me laugh.gif ..iunno, it doesnt look as good as i hoped, but oh well, i had already spent the money..overall, im pretty satisfied with it though..and the rear bumper, i just like how it turned out, it wouldve been nice to have that vader rear to go with the front (from the 01 celica)..but i didnt want to take too much away from the actual 6G design. and some JDM tails would really add to the car, so thats next..jeje..
thnx for all the compliments guys, i really appreciate it..oh, and Jen, I want to go to one of the meets, but i wouldnt want to be the oddball in the group (i dun drink kindasad.gif )

First off mad props on the car, it looks sick. That front is amazing and the color is great too. The only thing i would chance is the tail lights and the nasty wing, rice or not it still doesnt flow with the car. You should check out something like jaws' wing or something like that...THe car looks great though, I think shows can be just as fun as having a new engine...so dont sweat that. The wing is my only concern.

well i mean..i was shootin for a lil roll call, but maybe it got out of hand..well n e way, the ones on the windshield aren't really by choice, the top one is my shop sponser and the one on the side is my car club..but all other stickers were my choice biggrin.gif ..but overall, i guess they look alright..i was thinking of adding vinyl graphics to the car..but that thought lasted for about 2 seconds, then I realized it was a stupid idea..

you dont have to worry about that, all you have to do is go to savannah, its like 5 hours from you! tweak is right off of 95!

btw...where did you get that BEAUTIFUL lip protector from? i want one! (not made of carbon fiber though)

...all jokes aside, that has been an option ive actually thought about. If im gonna get the swap done, i simply want the best working at it..but i havent really mentioned it cause of course, you gotta have the money before you start the talk. so once i got all the $ together, then i'll see where i go from there. If anythin, im sure i can drive up there, drop off my car, take a bus back home, and when the car is done, take another bus back, n bring my car down...but believe me bro, ive really thought about that option wink.gif
..and that front splitter, i got it from my shop sponsor. But APR makes it, its the one from the scion tc. heres the website:
