just for re assurance, i want to remove the oil pan so that i can stop the oil leak coming from it. its not bad aand i told me self that i would remove it and re-seal it so that it can stop leaking. besides draining the oil, all i got to do is remove the bolts surrounding the oil pan right and thats it???

i dont think you'll be able to get the pan off without takeing off the engine crossmember ( the front to back one)
you'll need to disconnect the front and rear motor mounts to get that off, then the oil pan. be sure to scrape off ALL the old gasket material from the pan and the block, without gauging either. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
