I'd like to but like 2 or 3 gagues to mount on the panel that goes up to the roof right next to the driver side door? I don't know what kind to get it, i have an autmatic celi (for now. smile.gif ) so a bost gauge and that wouldn't really do anything, maybe like an airflow gague? how hard are they to install? and maybe like another type of gauge?

I have an N/A 5sfe.. I needed 2 gauges to fill up some holes I had from my 2 air gauges..

I did Vacuum (no reason but fun to watch, easy to hook up)
and Volt (great to have to check battery)

I have a swap so my opinion is a bit swayed... but i also have a Gt with not mods etc. If i were to get gauges for that.... i would probably get gauges that helped me monitor the vital signs a bit.. like engine temp, fuel pressure and oil pressure.. just so i would know if there were any problems with those three systems.. cooling, fuel and oil

buttttt like i said thats me thinking like a 3s driver.. voltmeter wouldn't be bad, i have one of those smile.gif

how hard the gaguges to hook up? i'd really like to get some.. (in a sad mood about my celi just baught a "standard single din dvd player" off ebay then took it to the shop to install it today and i got a call about a half hour later, well it seems its little big to fit so we might have to cut the dash is that ok? so i said yeah thats fine cause i spent 200 dollars on the thing, i just hope the shop does a good job and it doesn't look like crap. =[ )

gauges are not too dificult to wire in, u just have to fit the sensors at apropriate places in the engine bay, then run wires through the bulkhead to the gauges,
power can be taken from behind the cigarette lighter or head unit...hen u can get as creative as you like and mount the gauges where you feel they would look best...

k, well heres the thing.. after they installed my in dash dvd, theres still a din on the top of it, its just not a full din cause the dvd player was little over sized. I really need to find somthing to put in that din. It'd make it look tons nicer. Any ideas?

I would deffo get the Oil-Temp gauge. That way you can be sure the engine's warm enough before you start driving a bit harder and giving it more revs. (next on my list)

It's by far my favorite smile.gif its just looks so good. but im going to switch places with the two gauges in there now. I can't see the exhaust temp when im in 3rd or 5th but i can always read the volt. if i switch them i will always be able to see both since the volt reading is always on the left side of the gauge and will be visible while in 5th and 3rd biggrin.gif

Go right ahead tongue.gif I painted all the trim silver just because I wanted my interior to be silver and black with blue lights etc. I love the DCW pods because they aren't ricey and they offer a very clean look while being incredibly functional at the same time biggrin.gif
