Hey guys. I was wondering if there is anyway I can get my Neon Glow Lights to start up when I startup my car instead of constantly draining off my battery 24/7? I have no idea what so ever to even begin slicing or plugging. Please note that I do not have them connected on a transformer and they are the 'pulse' lights which only glows when there is a loud thump. Any information is appreciated guys. Thanks a bunch.

QUOTE(Batman722 @ Feb 2, 2007 - 3:01 PM) where are they spliced into now ? do you have them going directly to the battery ? Yeah. I have the positive wires directly connected to the battery and the negative connected to negative output. I was told by someone to connect the positive wire to the fuse box??? ok if you want them to come on when you start the car, connect the + wire to the "radio" fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay. I think that one only gets power when the car is on but I'm not 100% sure. Just get a fuse tap (pictured) and do it that way.
![]() you could run the wire back into the interior and tap from there but since the wires are already close to that fuse box just find one that gets power when you want it. -------------------- |

an easy tap if the wires are near the center of the car is the back of the cig lighter, just tap into that.
if you do run to the fuse box, make sure you secure all wires that run across the top of the pedal area, i didnt and every now n then my foot would temporarily catch one, not a good idea -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!

couldn't you also just put a relay on the positive line which should cut power when the car goes off to that line? (I believe this is how i have to do it, to install my carputer) -cnelson
