Hey everyone. I have been looking and looking and still can not find what i am looking for. Is there anyone that knows where to find a shift boot thats short to fit our short shifters? I'm looking for one thats just plain black like the stock one but with red stitching, and fits the short shifter. Also i would like to know if anyone knows where i could find the stock shift knob but redone with red stitching. There isn't any place in my town that will redo mine. If anyone has any information let me know
Thanks in advanced.

I pulled a shift boot out of a mid 90's Honda Accord and sewed in the metal bar-thing from my stock shift boot and then installed that on my TRD shifter. I will find a picture and post it. If you can find one at the junk yard that is going to be your best bet.

As for the shift knob, just look around for the knobs from the JDM MR-2's (I believe 98+) their knobs look just like ours, but have red stitching in them.

The only time I see them is when the seller "RPM Garage" has them on eBay. He asks a little too much for some things though kindasad.gif

I installed a TWM shifter into my car last night and put my custom boot on it and it looks nice! I can post pictures of that tomorrow and if you are going to make one yourself just let me know and I will help you out.

I found this website
http://www.redlinegoods.com/order.shtm?product=Celica95shift

This website is great for people that get short shifters. They custom make the boot how ever you want it. And it asks you how much shorter then stock do you want the boot.. But the problem is i don't know how much shorter the TWM is then the Stock shifter?? Does anyone know?

You can try buying this shifter boot with the red stitching and probably use that rectangle-shaped wire frame from the bottom part of the old shift boot and use an sealant or sew the shift boot around the frame. From the looks of it, it might work out fine.

And you can also try bidding for this authentic TRD shift knob:

Thanks man i found a shift boot. I'm just looking for the shift knob thats exactly like our stock one, but with red stitching. I love my stock knob its feels good. So i want the knob to match the shift boot i got. I guess 98 JDM mr2's have them?? i've been looking around for it.
