is is fairly easy to get this time with the 2nd gen swap??? this seems to be a reasonable goal for me so far, and will get a 2nd gen clip if this is possible (and when i have all the money saved up of course

2nd gen with basic bolt ons should be able to do a 13sec run, depending on tires and driver skill.
a 3rd gen motor with basic bolt ons should be able to get even better times then that. however, if you really want a 12sec car, you would have to upgrade to the turbo at some point, to meet that goal. either swap will be plenty fast on the street. just keep in mind that FWD is the worst possible setup for 1/4mile runs. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
