how much work is it going to be to install the 5gen mirrors to our 6th gen cars if anyone has done this on their own please show how to pic by pic please wink.gif

there should a b a sticky on this, but as for how hard, drill 1 hole, tap the holes bolt it up, re-wire, and your done.

i was thinking about going to a junk yard and looking for some 5th gen celicas to get the side mirrors...

what do you mean by "tap the hole"? i've never heard that before, but probably cuz im a noob

two of the three holes line up perfect the third is a lil bit off, you can either widen the hole, or drill a new next to it. also you have to splice the 6gen plastic connector to the 5th gen mirrors becasue the 5th gen plastic connector is smaller the nthe 6th gen, but the three wires are the same

cool, i hope they have some 5th gens at the local junkyards

how much do 5th gen mirrors sell for on here anyways?

i get mine for $40 a pair at pick and pull days..but other wise if its nothin special..usually around $36 each..but thats CND.
