Very nice looking. Big difference. Do you think that skirts are going to get tore up when on a rally track?

No Turbo? Are you rallying it then bud or is it just for the road?

Hello people. I'll try to answer your questions. I don't really have much time and my english is not perfect. kindasad.gif

First of everything. My car is a ST202 3SGE with 175 horse power. I'd prefer the GT-4 but in Spain was never sold, so it's expensive to get one. And i'd really be a pity use that car for rallying smile.gif

When you race in rallys, you have to ask to the FIA (Federación Internacional de Automovilismo) the homologation card of your car. In that card says everything that you can fit on it, and what´s not on that card, you can't use. So I can't touch the engine. Just use a direct admission filter, a direct exhaust system and less else. For example, I can't fit a turbo.

The crash was nothing. It's normal when racing. We were 131 cars and about 60 had crashed or touched something. On the race we had two small crashes. First we were going downhill really fast and I couldn't stop the car. I saw that I wasn't able to do the corner, so I tryed to drift but I crashed a car tha was on the side of the roda. Many people had to ran and escape from us. The second time was what you see on the pictures. There was a lot of mud, so we side-crash, but that was nothing. About 50 cars went out there

The tuning of the car is just K-Sport coilovers, TRD ceramic clutch, CSC exhaust system, direct cat-back, K-sport 8 piston brakes and everything you need for racing, like the seats, fire kit, roll bars and all that staff.

Someont asked how I got the advertiser. I work as a businessman on one of the main TV Channels in Spain and I know a lot of people in important companies.

I'll try to have time to answer your questions. Here you have a picture of the crash

Baha I just said that because i took spanish back in high school. So i can read it but im a little rough.

Dont listen to wolf, this thread will only get trashed if that dispute about the gt-four blocks goes any further. that is just my opinion.

Why you care my car ?
I didn't ever think my car is better than yours, nor I never said this.

Simply yours is not a GT-four, and you don't want people/spectators to think it is when you're making a rally race.

I know that it's not a painted sign, but your car was completely re-painted... and when it was there you could spend 1 euro of paste to cover the sign...

but you didn't...

Moreover you left the sign in black on the orange support, so it is more evident !

BTW, this is not my own business, and you, obviously, are free to do what you want, and you did.

No problem.

Dont listen to wolf, this thread will only get trashed if that dispute about the gt-four blocks goes any further. that is just my opinion.

My humble opinion...

I think people should love more their GT, as I do.

Maybe you, guys, don't know because you're too young,
but in 1995 all the 2000cc naturally aspirated cars had 150/160 hp, not more...

and when Toyota released its new Celica ST202 GT, 175 hp, 225 km/h, 0/100kmh in 7.9s, it was a GREAT car with a GREAT engine.... the most powerful in these years !

This is why, personally, I think you should care and love more your "GT".

My humble opinion.

This said, it's really fantastic for me to see, in 2007, an ST202 rally-racing !!! bowdown.gif

Good luck otes3000 !!! thumbsup.gif

Wolf, the support came with that, I can't remove it becouse is not painted. I say everybody that is not a gt-four, so I don't care.

I know that your car is better than mine, but why you care?

Why you care my car ?
I didn't ever think my car is better than yours, nor I never said this.

Simply yours is not a GT-four, and you don't want people/spectators to think it is when you're making a rally race.

I know that it's not a painted sign, but your car was completely re-painted... and when it was there you could spend 1 euro of paste to cover the sign...

but you didn't...

Moreover you left the sign in black on the orange support, so it is more evident !

I wanted to paint it on the same colour, but the advertiser said he liked it more like that, so if he pays he decides wink.gif

This saturday I'm racing again on a very difficult rally, I'll post new images then.

Nice biggrin.gif we don't use carro for calling a car, it comes from middle-south america. We say "Tu coche es muy bonito" Besides this, you should've said bonito instead of bonita. I imagine that when I write in english is worst than your spanish wink.gif

Thanks for the support!

Yes, we used it too mutch kindasad.gif We broke the rear bumper. We use the hand brake in all the corners like that. It can be about 12 or 15 times every stage. 5 or 6 times in the rally it didn't go perfect, like in that video

I don't know what brand it is, because it came with the car. It's just a skirt that goes below the original bumper. Now we have taken it off because you can't use it for racing. It's very easy to brake.

I'm pretty sure there are two divisions of rally, FWD and AWD. so, if you're driving a FWD car then you're only racing other FWD cars.

In the world rally championship, there are some times that FWD go faster than AWD. If there is good asphalt and dry conditions can happen. If it's raining or slippery roads, AWD usually win.

Here in Spain the divisions go different. My division is from 1.600cc to 2.000cc, it doesn't care if your car is FWD, AWD, or RWD
