has any one heard of the unichip? they sell one in pep boys they are asking 700 bucks and claims to get 30 hp or 30% increase!what do yall think?

I've never heard of performance chips for toyotas, but based on what I've seen on other cars I would guess there is no way you would get that much increase.

its a load of junk dont buy a chip 'cause they just trick the ecu to make it think that your motor is getting colder air and therefor it adds a little fuel i think.

40bhp is the most a chip will give a turbo car & the n/a would get about 15bhp max. Best off with a superchip as they have a vast knowledge of all cars with proven results and at no engine risk.
Unichip is ok as it can also sort other funtions like limiters etc but i say superchips are the daddies -------------------- My Celica Is Now For Sale
