Im about to do a tune up and Ive read some forum discussion about "ngk copper" plugs. Are these the best to use to help reduce chance of knock? If so where do you get them? Thanks

they are real cheap since they're copper, but they get replaced more often
i believe the rule of thumb on SF was every or ever other oil change. sine they're like $1-2 each, just od every oil change ![]() -------------------- ![]() |

I was going to buy 20 at a time and see what they look like after 3,000. |

I like the BKR7IEX [iridiums]
Coppers are real good, but they tend to foul out on the 3SGTE. Especially since we tend to run a step colder plug. But if you're going copper, BKR7ES, not E [V power instead of regular] IMO. -------------------- ![]() |

What do you guys think of the hks and greedy spark plugs?
you can get them one step colder and they say they last for a long time? (and not to do with best value for money) |

my clip came w/ HKS, they died right as i got the clip though.
i'll say that it has the thinnest "thing"(can't think of word) ever. . . so it's grounding distance had to be amazingly precise...sik, but expensive. coppers are cheap and although they die fast, lotsa supra guys love em...so :\ -------------------- ![]() |

In my opinion Iridium plugs are not worth it at all..I have only ever had problems running iridium plugs in the 3sgte engines...much better to go for the cheaper platinum plugs or normal copper core plugs which have never let me down yet. NGK are a good make along with Champion and Bosch...avoid Denso plugs if you can...the quality of build is not very good.

I'm trying the TRD Iridium plugs at the moment - aka Denso IK22. The problem I had with NGK plugs (at least in Australia) is that the NGK BKR7EIX only comes in 1.1mm gapping, and not 0.8mm.
