Last year I was going to the gym 5 days a week for 3 hours. Mostly cardio, one day a week i focused on legs and the rest i did 20-30 min on my abs. I was on stupid LA Weightloss and the pills they give you give you lots of energy. They would give you a "meal guide" of what you were allowed to eat. I'd make sure i got 90% of my food in before i went to they gym and after I got out i'd either have a fruit ( half a banana) or a small salad with a tablespoon of fat free dressing.

The problem with all that is when i stopped LA Weight Loss because i lost my desired weight I had what my docotor call withdrawl from all the pills i was taking. I stopped going to the gym as much as I was because I was very week and would get dizzy.

So now- when i do go to the gym i do about an hour of cardio and i'm exhausted. I'm trying to build myself back up so i can get back to my usual time but it's a pain. frown.gif

I dont do supplements. My trainer suggests I do but as a female I feel that anything but some vitamins such as a daily vitamin is a waste.

Ive been working out vigourously for the past two years and take pride in it. I almost feel as if its second nature for me to go to the gym. Before I started to work out I weighed in at about 145 and had no potential to work out. For me i work out six days a week- 3 days then an off day then 3 days, off, etc. I used to take supplements about year ago like m1t, superdrol...(the generics). I am currently 5'8, 211 with 8 % body fat. When I was bulking I weighed in at around 225 with 12 % bf.

Heres my work out schedule-
Monday- Chest/cardio
Tuesday- Tris/shoulders,delts/abs
Wednesday-Bis/back/ cardio
Thursday-off
Then starts over from Monday...

Oh I didnt mention what I do

Currently im slacking on cardio these past few weeks oops!!

Monday - personal trainer session
Tuesday - cardio day
Wednesday - personal trainer session
Thursday - personal trainer session
Sunday - cardio day

I dont pay attention to the weight im lifting because I have a trainer. :-) all I know is that I max out benching 105 right now. Im hoping to have it to 135 in the next 6 months though. I feel that 105 sucks for being a girl. My trainer says Im really really strong but i get pissed off at the gym alot so I end up cutting myself short because I havent found my way of putting that energy into lifting rather than getting frustrated that I feel a burn and getting pissed off and not wanting to do it

i just use it for a little boost sometimes. yes it does retain a bit of water but it shouldnt cause any problems when used properly

When you tear your muscles down they need material to rebuild with.
Protien. wink.gif

You don't have to get 200g in a massive milkshake.
But you should boost a slight bit.
Or eat more meat.

yeah i was going hard for about 8 months and got down, to 200lbs. but i was kinda thin so i bulked up to 218 where i am at right now. i am focusing on loosing body fat, i do a split routine in supersets 2 keep the pump going and my HR up. but i was taking Animal Pak for 3 months, and once i got off it, i was very sick for about 10 days. i dont think i would get on it again, maybe but just be more careful about. Right now i am on a multi and Tetrezene ES 50 its kinda like Hydroxycut. Any taking any good supplements? oh and this might seem kinda taboo, but i was thinking of taking Wynstrol, its a cutting agent, if u know what it is then cool, but i dont wanna get in any trouble talking about it on here.

Oh snap! I just came across this part. That's great you guys work out. I just came back from the gym. Looking to make my actual weight look like I have a "Manly" body. LOL. I am only 5'9" and weigh 175lbs but no one believes me. They all think I am 150 or lower. I wish I had more definition. I am still rather skinny with a size 30" waist. I wish I could get like the boxer Bernard Hopkins when he went up in weight. Dude was 180lbs with a 27" waist. How lean is that? WOW.

Yeah B-Hop is ripped, and he is kinda old, but he must spent years and thousands of dollars on diet and trainers. well if ur skinny maybe u should try eating carbs b4 u go 2 sleep at night, but if u wanna get ripped, watch ur diet, and twice a week empty out ur carb reserve. u do that by 2 days out f the week, eating very low carbs (less that 90g a day) and doing cardio, that should keep ur body from getting used 2 your diet and keep u making progress.

Yeah, but I need to quit smoking first. That is what keeps me from eating a lot. I don't do it on purpose, I just have weak will power and cannot find it in me to quit right now.

Well to be honest with you. I lived my whole life in fear. I get panic attacks, and get very nervous. It is because I am very different from others in my surroundings. I dunno why this is, but I end up doing something crazy with myself to stand out from the rest of other people. I can't help it. By doing this, I obviously draw a lot of attention to myself. Therefore I am always on the edge, because I try and figure people out, what they think, and what they will say. So when that happens, I get the adrenaline pumping, and I can't control myself. Smoking, is really just like breathing, although you feel it more, due to the fact that smoke is heavier than the very air we breathe. Then you get addicted to the nicotine, as well as the oral fixation, and you start to depend on it. Without pondering it each time, smoking actually causes heart issues, which also has to do with your blood pressure and such, which in turn, doesn't really help me with my panic attacks. Only for that short period in which I am actually smoking one, but not when I feel like that again. I wish there were pills that can balance me out, although the ones I want, they will not give me. Anyhow, smoking is seriously like a drug. I should have never got started. I spend about $80 - $100 a month on smokes. That's not good.

Not like I should. When I go over my mom's house, she is like "I'm gonna buy you the patch", so hopefully that works, and when she actually gets around to it. I really want to quit. When I was intensely working out, I smoked less. Perhaps that is what I need to do again. I only went one full day without, only once. It's hard now. I let everything get to me. I work in customer service, and people actually irritate me to the point where I want to do some pretty harsh things to them. But since I am older, I realize it is juvenile to think like that. I just need to put all methods to work one day. The only days I don't crave a smoke, but do it anyways is after a night of drinking and smoking a lot. But usually I end up smoking out of habit, not because I feel I need it...... and then I am brought back into the vicious cycle again.

I am going to buy a hot pink spandex outfit. With a yellow headband and some neon yellow chucks. I might also give myself the Mr T hairdo too. Walk up into 24 hour fitness and be like "I pitty the foo who don't wipe the sweat off my forehead!" I know that is lame, but if I decide to do it, I just want you all to know, that I will tape it and post it on here. That is if you can stand seeing my incredible glutes! Bwa hah hah hah haaaaaaah

Heres my work out schedule-
Monday- Chest/cardio
Tuesday- Tris/shoulders,delts/abs
Wednesday-Bis/back/ cardio
Thursday-off
Then starts over from Monday...

Where's your leg workout man? Don't tell me your one of those guys you see at the gym, with a big upper body, and chicken legs. laugh.gif

For about the past three weeks I've been bulking, eating 6-8 meals a day and totaling 4500 calories, with about 300g in protein, all from GOOD, healthy food.
day 1- bi's, tri's and shoulders
day 2- legs
day 3- chest back
day 4- rest

Then I start back over. I've gained about 8lbs in three weeks, and I'll probably keep bulking for the next 4-5 months, since I have a really tough time gaining weight.

O dang... lol i forgot to include legs on the first monday. woops. Ya I find it humorous too when your at the gym and you can just tell that someone doesnt work legs bc its just too unproportional.
But anyways, I bulked for about 5 to 6 months. Its really fun because you get to eat whenever you want and you get the satisfication when you step on the scale and your weight just keeps going up. Can be hard though sometimes because I tended to gourge myself and eat until I felt like i was gunna puke(which I did a couple times kindasad.gif ).
But taking in about 4500 calories, like you said, will get your weight up considering it takes about 3000- 4000 to gain a solid pound in a day. Good luck man and keep lifting!

Yeah that is pretty skinny. My roomate is 6'2" and weighs 175 like me, and that dude is skinny. Like a bird picked clean of it's feathers type of skinny. But hey..... I guess it beats having a belly that gets abused by your knees when you walk. Right?

I'm 5'9" 183. We got on this workout after football season and I gained about 15 lbs. after season. The same workout I did my freshman year I came in at 147 and ended the school year at 165. We start out with this

5 sets of close grip lats and 5 sets of curls alternating.
4 sets of long lats and 4 sets of abs until failure alternating.
4 sets of dead lift and 4 sets of easy curls alternating.

5 sets of squats and then 5 sets calf raises alternating.
4 sets of roman deads and 4 sets of abs and 4 sets of leg curls alternating

5 sets of bench and 5 sets of abs alt.
4 sets of incline bench and 4 sets of shrugs

5 sets of military press 5 sets of straight arm raise 5 sets of dumbell shrugs
4 sets of abs and then 4 sets of close grips.

I do this 4 times a week every week and the first set is always a warm up. You get strong soo fast and get pretty big. The only thing I don't like about the workout is that it kind of gets you bulky like a line backer or a running back. I play quarterback so its not the look I'm looking for.

working out? i love going to the gym and seeing a bunch of muscle bound meatheads moan and groan and throw their weights around, then me and my boys walk past and they puff up like they want some. when they are done they come watch my work out and think they can hang. my weight room has an eight side cage in it. i train 5 guys to fight in mma events. its lovley. muscle bound guys try and step up and they tap. doing three 15min rounds of non stop mma fighting for two straight hours. thats a are workout.

damn 3 15's? that crazy, I wrestle and fight MMA, my ground game is exceptional, but i need more work on my strikes. I took 3rd in state my last 2 years in high school when i wrestled. Yeah those big dudes aint nothing, my last fight i had to go up a weight class and fight some 6'4 guy(i am only 5'8), i submitted him in the first round with guillotine. r u a better striker or better on the ground?
