Just thought I'd let you know that my husband and I went to look at a 94 celica gt-s Saturday night... he is VERY interested in it, it's very, very nice.

It's got a 2 month old custom paint job (silver w/ gold flake), black konig rims, leather interior, and a new motor with only 60000km's on it (37,500miles). It drives like a DREAM compared to my car (well over 200,000km's). I loved it. I'll let you know what's going on in the next few days, we've got an interested buyer in his car, so if it sells we're definately going to pick this one up. I'm pumped biggrin.gif

Man. Your husband changes cars like we change clothes. lol.
If you were buying a 6gc, why didn't he just "buy" yours? tongue.gif You've been wanting to part with it for a while, no?

And where's this 6gc you're looking at? In Winnipeg?

the steering wheel is factory, and the motor is VERY clean because it's practically new (60000km's). I can't remember if it had a heat shield or not.

oh and Alf, it wasn't so much his choice to trade cars this time... someone asked him if he wanted to sell and he was like ah... for the right price. and this guy is willing to pay what Matt wanted, so yeah. biggrin.gif I had nothing to do with his wanting to buy a 6th gen either, it was all on his own. It's a SWEET car though. If he gets it, I will be driving it way more than mine. my suspension pisses me off. stupid lowering springs suck ass and squeak and creak and make so many noises everytime i go over a bump, my brakes squeak and i need new rotors. i'm fixing everything this summer though...

we drove it home tonight biggrin.gif has some issues with the rear brakes and the e-brake doesn't work. we're getting it all checked out tomorrow. but we got a kickass deal on it and it's got a newish motor and new paint, the body and motor are in premium shape. so we don't mind fixing up a few minor things.
drives really nice.... i love it smile.gif

no parts, and no pics as of yet. The safety was done at Ollie's Auto (on Regent) and it was complete BOGUS. As we drove home we heard some crazy noises coming from the rear brakes, we brought it to a shop yesterday.... they won't even let us have it back (unless we sign a waiver) because it's unsafe to drive. they pulled the rear rotors off, and the e-brake shoe (bear with me i'm not too sure what i'm talking about, lol) is COMPLETELY worn down, compound, metal, everything. So the new rotors already need to be machined because it's just been grinding metal on metal for a long time now.

The safety was done at the end of March and there's NO way this could have happened in 2 weeks, so we're trying to get something done about this, and hopefully, in the end, we won't have to pay for it. Because they're quoting us just under $400 right now. That's not cool...

So no pics until we get the car back home, which HOPEFULLY is on Friday since this weekend's weather is supposed to rule, but if not... Monday.

Wish us luck! tongue.gif

Edit: He made an account on here now, so if you have any questions for him or if what i said doesn't make sense, pm him smile.gif his SN is KaJuN
