Back From Hot Import Nights, with pics of Natalie's car and my car Options

Sup Guys,
I got home from Hot Import Nights in Seattle at about 2:30 this morning, and it was awesome! I met up with Natalie(BlackCelicaGT94) up there, and then we cruised around Seattle and took a whole bunch of pictures of our cars both before and after the show, some of which are below.
















Hot Import Nights itself was awesome, and there were tons of sweet cars, but no real nice sixth gens. There were two of them, and both of them weren't show-quality cars. One was completely stock except for some 17s and a drop and some sort of exhaust, and a nice key mark that circled the entire body of the car(which wasn't even clean.) Natalie and I asked what the owner had planned, and apparently it's getting a body kit and being painted bowling ball blue, getting the interior painted, and having a Supra engine swapped in. Here's a pic of this car:



Then we found another sixth gen, and this one had an invader kit and a paint job with graphics all over it, but it was completely overdone, and the graphics were glued on or something, because they stuck up pretty high and didn't look good up close. Also, it had a fake GT-Four hood bulge, which was simply glued on top of the stock hood. And he has NOS stickers, despite his nitrous kit being a Nitrous Express kit and not NOS. We told the owner about the site though, so maybe he'll come on here sometime. Here's a couple pics of this car:

Dissapointing there werent any nice 6g's there. But I love the pics of coomers and Natalie's cars. They look very good!

That's not a nice thing to say...especially to the gracious owner of this site. . Nevertheless, Coomer, your's and Natalie's pics are way sweeter than any Celica's there. You guys own.

no, he had an actual custom paint job, not graphics.

Well, we talked to the owner's son, who was probably nine to eleven years old, and when he said "Supra engine", I just told him, "There's no way that that engine will easily fit in the car." I didn't go on to talk about how the 3S-GTE is a far better swap for the car and how JGTC Supras use that engine and stuff, because I'm sure that the kid probably would've gotten confused. When we left we were like "Well, nice car. Good luck."

And to FallenHero, it'll have speed soon. Well, it won't exactly be really fast since I'm only getting a 20 valve silver top 4A-GE, but it'll be a lot faster than it is now, and it'll be a lot of fun.

yes we are talking about the black stock one! and yeah we saw the silver one! and you mean the silver over done ricey one not the silver decked out celica! <--just my opinion

Yep, we're talking about the near stock black Celica that's in one of the pics in the first post in this thread. And we did see the decked-out silver Celica.

I think we got to the show at about 7:00 or so, because we didn't want to have to wait in line. When we got there, there was no line at all. And I didn't see the silver Ferrari driving around either. Before we went to the show we went to Park Place Motors though, and there were so many sweet exotic cars there!

Sounds like fun, are you planning on getting the supercharger for that car? I was planning on doing that swap with my 'rolla but it got totalled.

Nope, if I was getting a supercharger, I would've just gone with the 4A-GZE swap to begin with. But insurance won't insure me if my car is supercharged, and my parents would make me tell insurance.

and i was just thinking if someone handed me the keys to a corvette and were like "you can take the corvette and you cant sell it and we take the celica" I would have to actually think about it for a day

but id be more apt to trade the celica for a viper

meh,

i cant stand corvettes. they are way too common and the style hasnt really changed since the 80's.

same pop ups and four round tails. the shape has only been rounded out. 60's and early 70's vettes are awesome tho.

and dont knock vipers(despite the ugly wheels and the winf on that second one), dodge tried something new there as apposed to the 50th aniversary edition Vette, what did chevy change? THE COLOR!

Corvettes and Porsches are very common where I live. Vipers however, are not that common. I honestly love the look of them and just knowing that there's 500 horses under the hood makes me all wet. But, I've heard that the interior isn't all that. Dodge's site dosn't even show any interior shots of it, except for the gauges.

awww i came across this and just had to post. Ive known coomer for 3 years now. My car sure has changed since then too! Aww the good ol days of being stoked to mod my car. now its where I wanted it well almost - minus a rebuilt 5s since mines going to die someday soon im sure and high beam projectors.
