Hey, I'm trying to figure out a good way to do a two-tone paint scheme on my celica. I want to do it Black and Charcoal. Just can't seem to find a way to run a good line to cut the car. Any ideas???

unfortunately there is no real good line to cut the colors.... two tones distract from the curves of the body imo

if you do it you should fade it from black on the bottom and then charcoal on the top

yeah i miss the ninja turtle and it wasnt even my car lol. good luck on the two tone, but most two tones contrast ya know, black and charcoal are pretty similar, but a good paint shop can make it def look nice go for it.

The ninja turtle looks the best way to two tone! Just flows as naturally as it could on a celi imo! That could just be the choice of colours though. Some look so right and some look soo wrong...whatever way you do it, i hope it works out and good luck

If I were to do a 2 tone I would do the hood - up in between the water channels on the roof- and down between the spoiler on the hatch. There are lines there that draw it out. I think it would look good.

yeah, I'd go with the window trim line all the way down, or go with the ninja turtle. I love the ninja turtle, might do a paint scheme similar to that myself.

That's all you're going to give us! More more more! lol. Are you going to get the bonnet done as well?

I know I wanted to do a black top on my white Celica. But it like it was mentioned, there's no real place to put the lines. It would've involved a Carbon Fiber hood and hatch.

Interesting. Never seen a two-tone like that. I'm assuming that its the same on both sides. Catches the eye, yet still clean. Good work.

I've thought about the two-tone thing as well, IMO I think the gradient from light to dark (fade/blend rather than a sharp line) would look excellent. I was thinking gunmetal/metallic charcoal to silver.

Yeah, cuz if you don't wash it regularly it'll be a black fade to silver fade to dirt.

IMO 2 tones look ugly unless u have an intricate design on the car.
