I moved down to Windsor Ontario last september for school...about 3.5 hours away from Toronto, right next door to Detroit. Any ways, i spent from sept to about a week ago living in residence. I havent been on the site for awhile mainy because of the fact of moving, and my rez cut my internet off for a week. Any ways, so i finaly moved into my own place with my gf who is moving in in July, and my roomate i lived with in rez whos moving in in Sept. But yea, its sooo nice to have more than a little hole in the wall with a kitchenet.

so you walk in the front door, we got the hallway straight ahead with the washer and dryer, aswell as a bathroom and a closet.
Then you turn to your right and you go into the living room

Then the kitchen is beside the living room

Its a pretty good sized room...we also have a spare room but its a mess right now cuz i moved in on Thursday, and my old roomates room thats completely bare right now. Also at the top of the stairs we got a full sized bathroom with a tub and such. The place is good, but needs a bit of work. We are gonna be repainting every room except our bedroom. But so far ive been home from school at 4:30 every day and pretty much working around the house for like 4 or 5 hours straight after just fixing little things around the house like puttin up mirrors, pictures, mouldings, blinds, toilets, etc. Its not bad though considering we are paying $975 a month for 3 ppl, we only have to pay for internet, phone, and cabel ($109 a month), aswell as the electrical bill (only around $140 at most). Plus me and Chris are gettin to use the underground parking lot under our place for free for 4 months. Chris is really nervous about his BMW and i wouldnt mind parking my car underground too.

Its great having my own place, only problem is, i have no room to work on my car. the parking lot here is really un-even and has alot of loose gravel in it. That should change when i get the underground parking in a few weeks.

My rent is so cheap because i live in a small city. Like...30,000 people in the city and surrounding area. Back in Toronto if i got a place like this, it would cost me around $1600 or more a month.
