I've seen some nice looking carbon fiber and some nasty, faded, flimsy fiber.

It looks like the options are:
Seibon
ViS
Erebuni
Nopi (someone else relabelled?)

Can anyone testify to the:
1. Weave quality - tightness and squareness
2. Resin quality - clarity or fogginess and bubbles
3. Number of layers
of any of these parts? Thanks.

i'd only get a hood from vis. never heard anyone complain about the quality. and not quite sure, but i think vis is the only company that makes cf hoods with the latch and what-not. all the others require hood pins.

Paid $900 for it but waited 6 months because it had to be hand laid and everything.

The little hump next to the center vent..some people also refer it to as the hump it self on the middle of the hood(not the little hump next to the vent). If you look from it sideways, st205 have the hump on the hood but the non-st205 doesn't have it. So basically the middle of the st205 hood is rise up. If that helps.

So because of this little hump... the hood won't fit on a standard 202 chassis???

And is this remedied with a gt-4 bumper? If so I really have nothing to worry about, lol.
