hmm... i'm definitely interested in both. so would it be okay for me to wait and buy them both at the same time? that should save a lil on shipping right. unless you're only gonna be making the 3pr's for a limited time or what-not.

Do you need to bolt the bottom part of the strut bar to the floor? (requiring drilling) or does it just kinda sit there?

I'm definately interested. I've contacted you about it, and like I said, it'll be a while before I can get it, but I do want one. I just want to make sure you'll still have one/will still be making them when I do eventually want one.

there is no drilling involve, is bolted to the floor in a factory bolt, all you'd need is replace the bolt with a longer bolt.

have you ever heard of money orders? why don't you take the advice that we have given you? set up a paypal with your savings account (or whatever account your ATM card is attached to) and you can buy stuff online. it's not as hard as you think it is. you will need to get your account and routing #s from your bank in order to do so.

i want a 3pt rear addon strut bar too!!
140 to cali
how can i pay u??? i only have cash or ATM card

have you ever heard of money orders? why don't you take the advice that we have given you? set up a paypal with your savings account (or whatever account your ATM card is attached to) and you can buy stuff online. it's not as hard as you think it is. you will need to get your account and routing #s from your bank in order to do so.

nah dude i called and they said i have to open a checkin acct

Ok guys,

I believe I have everybody finished. All that is needed now is test fit & paint. I'm going to do a roll call to see if I missed anyone. Please have your payment ready by Thursday August 23rd. If you are picking up, you can pay me when we meet.

The completed list:
CelicaGT04
Slickrick
Dewhoegt
Tigawoods
CaliJeff
2slow2nervous
AndreyC
Massbrandon
HaRv3sTeR

If you contacted me and you are not on this list please let me know. I still have time to add you to this group. If you haven't contacted me, and would like a strut bar. I will still be making these after this group, so no rush.

Thanks for waiting guys,
DEF

Fender braces could be done.
Anyone have a set that I could borrow, to make a copy ? If anyone could help me out I'll pay shipping both ways, and throw in a free pair of braces once I finish them. LMK

You just need a longer 12mm bolt, the stock bolt is to short.

^^^ x2 got mines today and what an mazing work def has done keep it up.....

as for the longer 12mm bolt, jus take yoru original bolt out & go to any auto parts store n they can get one for u, installation should be a breeze......

take out your shock tower cover, undo 4 of teh shock tower bolts & 1 on teh floor of teh trunk (12mm), install the strut bar and put on all thigns u removed back to its original place..sounds easy? it IS easy...

the middle bolt is the entire reason for the 3 point bar in the rear wink.gif

take your old blot out, then go to home depot and get one the same pitch, just longer.

I think Defgeph should just run out to home depot and get a bunch of the right size bolt and just include it with the strut bar. I'm sure it wouldn't cost much extra, probably like $.20 per bolt. I can't ever find metric size bolts in any of my local hardware stores, and trust me, I've tried...

Notbok - Its a good thing I asked about NE. It would be 120 shipped for you.

As its been stated earlier in this thread. Remove the middle bolt, take it to an ace hardware, ask them for the same bolt 3 inches long. smile.gif

Thanks guys,
DEF

I'm not making any bars at this time, I am very busy with work. If work ever slows down for me, which I hope it doesn't. I'll start making these again.

You'll see a new thread if it happens again.

Thanks,
