Hey

have a question .... i was talking to a friend thats building an 65 mustang and i was telling him that i was going to get my motor mounts rebuilt with polyurethane insted of getting the incerts since i cant find full polyurethane mount ..... how he said that he was talking to some friends thats hole life is about racing and he said not to get polyurethane because they may be stronger but they dont last as long that because of all the heat and the cooling down that they start to crack from the inside out ..... and he said that i would be better off having the motor mounts rebuld with full rubber like the rubber that the mounts are made with and that they would last longer and would be just as strong .... is there anyone that can conferm that for me or might think that would be a better idea then polyurethane ..... dont get me wrong i hear polyurethane is the best but he made sence that with all the heat and on top of that all the vibration that the motor mounts would be holding in that it would be true .......and that rubber is almost just as strong but a lil more flexible so that when you floor it it dosent tair up the motor mounts .... let me know what yall think guys
