depend on exaclty what you mean by grille.

If you just talking the grille mesh thats easy to do.. but if your talking about doing an actually grille insert then that will be a little harder to do but not that bad... check out my HOW TO on custom fiberglass interior.. that method works for exterior mods too.

Man, I don't know why I'm so excited about this...I'm gonna like, clearcoat it and everything. But one question: you just cut it to width, and stick it behind the bumper? I mean, you don't cut it to shape?

Got mesh, read How-to article ... just about ready to go.

Just want to make sure I have everything I need and am clear on what to do,
so, a couple of things...
1. Jack car up at front (ramps, axle stands, ...),
2. Remove black under-engine guard,
3. Remove original black plastic grille,
blah! blah! ... rest OK.
Thing is - How is the original black plastic grille held in?
(I have a 97 3 post grille)

I just did mine last weekend...i got Jr. mesh grille from the masonry unit isle at lowes..i don't like that gutter stuff..looks kinda dumb...that's just me......i cut it to the shape of the middle and crimped it along the sides so it would just slide right in (to me if u put the grille behind the posts it makes the car look like it has a mouth and its smiling..again...that's just me...and than used some industrial twisty ties to tie it to the posts (ive got a 98 3-post) i think it looks really good....check my profile for pics
