i wanted to see if it would be possible to cut off the two prongs and put them on in a vertical fashion so you could mount the emblem on the front bumper

you could probably cut them off and then tack-weld them where you want them. but if you try this, keep in mind that they are probably aluminum so don't use a welder that's set-up for steel.

better yet, cut the prongs off and then use double stick tape on the front bumper. lol

thats what i did with my cursive emblem on my dash, i cut the prongs off with a mini-hack saw, sanded it smooth then double sided taped it to the dash and it looks and sticks really good.

well if you get the holes filled in w/some body filler and painted and waht not, then you could put the dragon on it...but thats gonna cost more cash..

yeah i got an estimate to fill the holes and paint over them, it was 500 b/c they would paint the entire front bumper

The dragon emblem is too small, in my opinion, to replace the toyota emblem. Thats why I put mine on my grill instead. Its your call, but its a fairly small emblem, more of an accent piece for my car.

you can use another Dragon emblem, like i did on my SSIII, and mount it on the front bumper, all you would need is to drill 2 small holes horisontaly, and emblem will cover the existing holes nicely. Heres a pic of the emblem mounted:
